There is a local restaurant, Akatama, which is famous for its wasabi sushi. Wasabi Sushi is sushi with vinegared mackerel wrapped in wasabi leaves and sushi rice. (2 minutes walk)
There is a restaurant called "Sekisho" that serves delicious yakitori and ramen. It's cheap and good! We are working hard on our motto. (About 3 minutes walk)
Sightseeing spots
Aragishima: A terraced rice field selected as one of the 100 best-terraced rice fields in Japan. Aragishima is not an island. Aragishima is not an island, but a terraced paddy field on a river terrace created by the meandering Arita River, which originates from Koya Mountain. The scenery is unique and is said to be tongue- or fan-shaped. About 5 minutes by car

Kiyomizu-dera Temple: This is a branch temple built by Kobo Daishi, a Buddhist monk who used to study here to escape the flames. It is said that in the past, a Koya monk escaped from the flames by studying at this temple and making a pilgrimage to the temple. It's about 6 minutes on foot.
Shimizu Onsen Kenko-kan: Enjoy a moment of peace in a natural hot spring. It's about 7 minutes on foot.
Koyasan is one of the holy sites of Japanese Buddhism, established by Kobo Daishi as a place for shuzen. The number of temples on the mountain is 117, including Kongobuji Temple (the head temple of the temple), Hojuin Temple (the head temple of the temple), and other temples, about half of which are also shukubo. The road was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as "The Road" and in 2016, it was additionally registered as a World Heritage Site as the Koya Pilgrimage Road (including the Machishi Road) was renamed. 【Approximately 1 hour by car】.
Dojoji Temple: This temple of the Tendai sect of Buddhism is located in Hidaka-cho, Hidaka-gun, Wakayama Prefecture, and is known for the legend of Princess Haicho and the famous Anchin Kiyohime legend, which is used in Noh, Kabuki and Joruri plays. When you visit the temple, you will be shown the picture scroll of "Anchin Kiyohime" at the Enki-Do hall and have a lecture about it. 【Approximately 1 hour by car】.
