Located on a hill in a mountain village surrounded by nature, this 120-year-old traditional Japanese house offers a variety of fascinating experiences, so please come and visit us. We are sure you will be satisfied. Since the entire building is available for rent, it is a relaxing and comfortable inn for families and groups.
Pickup service is available from JR Numata Station and Jomo-Kogen Station on the Joetsu Shinkansen (reservations required).
Enjoy the spectacular views of the rice terraces from your room, stargazing under the stars, and experiencing nature.
Optional activities (reservations required) include pottery, soba noodle making, Japanese painting, drone flying, zazen, BBQ, apple picking, vegetable harvesting, and dried persimmon making. We look forward to your visit. (Please note that seasonal activities such as apple picking, vegetable harvesting, and dried persimmon making may not be available at certain times, so please check in advance.)
Pets are also not permitted.
There are no beds.
Futon sets are available for rental.
The rooms are decorated with expensive pieces created by the pottery teacher, so please do not touch them.
Also, please refrain from making noise after 9pm.
Please cooperate with the no smoking policy within the building.
田舎暮らしに憧れがあり、その入り口を体験してみたくて宿泊しました。結果は期待以上でした。
2日目にお願いしたうどん打ち体験と陶芸体験はどちらも初めてでしたが、丁寧に教えていただき夢中になりました。打ちたてのうどんをみんなで囲んだ食卓は、この旅一番の思い出です。
築100年を超える古民家は手入れが行き届いていて、とても綺麗で居心地が良く、縁側から眺める里山の風景に時間を忘れました。夜の静けさも含めて「暮らすように泊まる」が叶う宿です。
何よりスタッフの皆さんのお人柄が温かく、初めてでも自然に輪に入れていただけました。周辺は吹割の滝や川場田園プラザ、谷川岳も近く、観光拠点としても便利です。田舎暮らしに興味がある方には特におすすめします。

先日は宿泊及びうどん打ち、陶芸体験をして頂きありがとうございました。
当方としてもご一緒出来、特に打ち立てのうどんを大勢で食べられたのはとても楽しかったです。また、陶芸で「どんぶり」を作って頂きましたが、とても良い出来で、焼き上がりの作品が楽しみです。
また、ご指摘頂いた2点については改善を進め、皆さんに喜んで宿泊して頂けるよう努めてまいります。

のんびり滞在させていただきました。
BBQセットを貸していただいてお庭でBBQ。
陶芸家さんのお宅なようで、お皿やカップも趣あるものばかり。自宅のようになんでも揃ってます。
手作り味噌や棚田のお米も用意してくださっていたので料理も楽しめました。
囲炉裏(使ってませんが)を囲んで晩酌して、起きたら棚田の近くを散歩。
温泉も車でいけるところに選べるほどありますし、道の駅川場田園プラザもあるので観光/外食も便利です。非日常を手軽に体験できました！
