Lacoma House is a renovated single-story traditional Japanese farmhouse (kominka) nestled in the mountains of Kozagawa, Wakayama.

While preserving the charm of old Japan, the space has been carefully maintained for cleanliness and comfort, offering a peaceful stay where you can gently reset your mind and body surrounded by nature.

■ Nature & Retreat Experience

Lacoma House is located in a satoyama (rural mountain village) area of Wakayama where you can closely experience both nature and local life.

Just near the property is “Takinobai,” a designated Natural Monument of Wakayama Prefecture.

This mystical landscape features uniquely shaped rock formations carved by water over time, with a clear waterfall flowing through the center.

Listen to the sounds of flowing water and birdsong while enjoying meditation or quiet relaxation in nature.

To support our environmentally conscious operations, we provide our own selected body soap, shampoo, and conditioner.

Please refrain from bringing strongly scented personal care products.

There are no supermarkets, gas stations, or drugstores near the property.
Please prepare necessary items in advance before arrival.

■ About the Host

In 2017, the host relocated from Osaka to southern Wakayama at the age of 24.

After gaining experience in agriculture, she opened her accommodation business in 2018.

With the support of the local community, she continues to carefully create a space where guests can truly feel at ease.

Long stays are especially recommended for those considering relocation or interested in rural Japanese living.
