夫婦でお世話になりました。広い敷地に歴史ある建物がいくつもあり、ここにかつて人の営みがあったのだなと思いをはせながら、非日常の一泊二日となりました。泊まった主屋は大きな古民家で、昼でも建物の奥まであかりが届きにくいほどですが、朝、早起きしてみると、室内が朝日に照らされ、とても美しく感動しました。建物は隅々まで清掃が行き届いており清潔感があります。そして何より、女将さんの優しいお人柄から、穏やかな気持ちで過ごすことができました。

DESCRIPTION
This is the birthplace of Suzuki Riichiro, the first mayor of Kakegawa. The Suzuki family served as village headmen during the Edo period and devoted themselves to urban development in Kakegawa during the Showa period, and the property has remained in pristine condition to this day. Guests can stay in this historic building, enjoying the landscape of the residence, which displays the status of a village headman, with its magnificent main house, tenement gate, and storehouse.
