A house built with the tradition from the Ryukyu Kingdom period intact.
No nails or chemicals are used, and the red tile roof is made of Ryukyu plaster. You can stay in a house where you can experience the nostalgic Okinawan life surrounded by stone walls and fukugi trees. The location is the castle town of Nakijin Castle, and it is located in the village of Tomari, where the old townscape remains.
There is no air conditioning in the room. We have a fan in the summer and a heater in the winter.
You can still connect to Wi-Fi.

Please understand that since the house is situated in the nature, insects (such as ants, spiders, mosquitoes) or small animals might get inside the house. You can use the mosquito net to cover your bed at night, but we recommend people who strongly dislike bugs to look for another accommodation where they might feel more comfortable.
Please also note that the roof leaks in different places during heavy rains.
There is no air conditioning in the house but you can use the fan during hot days and the stove during winter.
The guest room (11m²) is rather narrow, and its floor is made of tatami mats which are a fragile material. This is why we kindly ask you to avoid bringing suitcases with wheels, as much as possible.
No smoking inside the facility. Fire inside the building is strictly prohibited.
Making fireworks is prohibited everywhere (including the garden, the accommodation and its premises, the village and the beach).
Since this is a residential area, thank you to be quiet after 9:00PM.
Please avoid any behaviour that might disturb or offend others.
You will be asked to leave without refund if we consider your behaviour inappropriate or receive complaints from neighbours.
We might ask you to cancel your reservation until one day before the day of your arrival if the weather is really bad (typhoon etc).
沖縄の自然と伝統、そしてホストの方の想いが感じられる素敵な宿でした。
5年ほど前に建てられたようで、宿はとてもきれいですが、古材を利用し伝統的な造りで建てられているため、古き良き沖縄の伝統を目一杯感じられます。
屋内から庭まで隅々まで手入れされ、ホストの方のこだわりが沢山詰まっていました。
ここで生活していれば心の垢なんてつかないと思うぐらい、素敵な空間でした。
蚊帳で寝るのは初めてでしたが、とても快適でした。この時期は夜になると涼しく、虫も少ないようでおすすめです。
素敵な空間でリフレッシュでき、本当に宿泊して良かったです。
また泊まりに来たいと思います！

ホストの方の笑顔に癒されました。とても清潔で素敵な建物で他ではない体験でした。
蚊帳で寝るのは、人生初でしたが、蚊に刺されることなく寝る事が出来ました。
歩いて15分のところに飲食店もありますが、寝る以外の事は済ませて向かった方が良いです。
暑くない時期がオススメです。
沖縄の伝統的な家に泊まれるということで選びました。戸を開け放して寝るので、涼しく、蚊帳の中で快適に眠ることができました。夜風が涼しく、まるで避暑地にいるようでした。洗面台やお風呂、トイレは最新式で、過ごしやすかったです。
宿泊料金もリーズナブルでした。
２つのビーチへ歩いてすぐでした。今帰仁城跡もすぐ近くでした。
