We were delighted to spend three nights in peacr and comfort here and could easily have stayed longer. A short drive to wonderful attractions, this was a fantastic base for relaxing and being in the countryside.

DESCRIPTION
Located at the foot of the Kyushu Mountains, with UNESCO parks such as Ōkōzu, Sobo, and Keigeyama, this accommodation is nestled in a region where the old rural landscape remains intact, and it is designated as one of Japan's Top 100 Rice Terraces.
There are several hot springs within an hour’s drive, including Kurokawa, Nagayu, and Takeda Onsen. The property also has a sauna on-site.
Within one hour’s drive, you can also access hiking trails for Ōkōzu, Sobo, Keigeyama, and Kuju, and guides are available.
For meals, guests will need to prepare their own food. A supermarket selling Oita beef is located within 2 km.

居心地良く、過ごせました。
3泊しましたが、もう1泊、2泊したくなるような居心地の良さでした。
私達以外、誰も会うことなく、静かで、棚田の風景、室内も広く清潔でした。
オーナー様のお心遣いもうれしく、お米、お茶、ドリップコーヒーをたくさんご用意いただきありがとうございました。お米はとても美味しかったです。
車で20分以内に、スーパーや温泉もあります。
関西からは遠く、フェリーを利用しながらのため、なかなか行けないですが、次は違う季節に、宿を拠点として、温泉巡りや自然観光、牧場巡りなど、再訪したいと思いました。
静かで、夫婦二人には十分な広さで、落ち着けました。また、再訪したいと思います。

まるで自分の家のよう
ゆっくりくつろげました 洗濯物をさせてもらったり（洗剤有り）、お米2合いただいたり、近くのスーパーで買い物してお肉を焼いたりして自炊も気兼ねなくできました 近くには見どころ（原尻の滝や稲積水中鍾乳洞など）がたくさんあります ありがとうございました

棚田が見える離れの宿
幹線道路から曲がってちょっとにある、周りに何もない農家の離れです。最近リノベーションしたばかりと思える綺麗さです。部屋から棚田が見えるバリのリゾートを思い出す景色と、滞在中オーナーさん以外誰も合わなかった静かな所です。部屋は広いリビングダイニングで食事用のテーブルもありますので自炊も問題ありません。また、オーナーさん手作りのお米もありましたので、いただいたらとても美味しく感激いたしました。部屋にはハンモックもありますので非日常感を感じます。寝室は別部屋でベッドですがレイアウトの加減で横並びではありません。浴室は別棟でシャワーのみサウナ付きでしたが、竹田市が車ですぐで城下町パスポートに温泉がありましたのでそちらを使用いたしました。
又来たくなる。ここを拠点に観光したくなる宿でした。
