Tokamachi, Niigata Prefecture. It is the area with the heaviest snowfall in Japan, and is also the birthplace of Japan's best rice, ""Uonuma Koshihikari.""
We hope that by touching the soil through rice, people will be able to get a sense of the lives of the people who live in Tokamachi and become connected to the community.
With this in mind, we named this inn KOME HOME.

KOMEHOME is a 70-year-old traditional Japanese house located in Tokamachi City, Niigata Prefecture, the home of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennale.
Enjoy the open nature and BBQ and fireworks in the garden. Pets are welcome! (Separate pet accommodation fee applies.)
Echigo Yuzawa and Naeba are also just a 40-minute drive away. It's also a convenient base for visiting FUJIROCK and skiing!


▼Accommodation
Limited to 1 group per day.
This is a traditional Japanese house with an irori hearth that has been renovated from an old house that is over 70 years old.
The room can accommodate up to 8 people and the entire house is spacious and comfortable.
We only accept one group per day, so you will not be surrounded by other guests, making it a comfortable stay even for those with small children.
There is also a kitchen, washing machine, and bathroom, making it a very convenient environment for families and friends wishing to stay for a long period of time.
From the second floor you can see the rice fields, and the breeze from the Shinano River is soothing to the soul.

It is located a little away from the city center, so you can enjoy a quiet stay.
Here, time passes slowly, far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the locals live in harmony with nature, farming.
・5 minutes by car or 20 minutes by foot from the nearest station (Doichi Station).
・15 minutes by car from Tokamachi Station.
・The nearest supermarket is a 5-minute drive away, and the nearest large supermarket is a 10-minute drive away.
・There are many restaurants near Doichi Station, including sushi restaurants, ramen shops, soba shops, Western restaurants, cafes, and izakayas.

・Guest access area
You can basically enter all areas of the house except for the room where the owner is staying.
You are free to use the outdoor area in front of the entrance and other areas on the premises, but please do not enter the surrounding rice fields, farms, or neighboring houses and gardens.
・As the owner is not always at home, please inform us of your check-in time in advance and be punctual. If you do not comply with the time, check-in may not go smoothly.
・We have taken measures to prevent insects from entering the house, but as the inn is surrounded by nature, insects may enter the house.
・The house is fully equipped with heating facilities, but since it is an old house, it can get a little cold in the winter.
