Outline of the property
It started as a place to stay for those who used the Yamakoshi Sports Park during the Yamakoshi Village era and then started an accommodation facility with outdoor facilities in order to make it a base for tourism and exchange in the whole Yamakoshi area.
Located at the highest point in the Yamakoshi area, it is a peaceful and relaxing facility full of romance with a panoramic view of nature. Please enjoy the panoramic view and the cuisine with plenty of Yamakoshi's unique flavors to your heart's content. We will entertain you with our carefully selected dishes and a relaxation paradise. In winter, you can enjoy the snowy landscape and the white terraced rice fields all to yourself. We also offer snow trekking and snowshoeing experiences. There is a family-friendly ski resort, Koshi Kogen, only 15 minutes away by car.

-Japan's longest hand-dug tunnel: The longest hand-dug tunnel in Japan is right here in Yamakoshi. And there are two other tunnels at the top of the list in length! A local guide will take you around the area and guide you to each spot. (The local guide will accompany you in your car or bus for the tour.

-Yamakoshi Guide-Recommended Course: A local guide will take you around the area, showing you the remains of the earthquake and other sightseeing areas. (about 2 hours)
It introduces life in Yamakoshi, which overcame the earthquake and is now recognized as a Japanese agricultural heritage site, the beautiful scenery of the terraced rice fields, and the rich traditional culture of bullfighting and "Nishikigoi", as well as the residents' own personal stories. Our tours have been very popular among visitors and groups.
Recommended Course: Oraru Earthquake Disaster Exhibition Room at the Yamakoshi Reconstruction Center → Kigoro Memorial Park → Nakayama Tunnel
The residents' guide will accompany your bus.

Electric bicycles are available for rent in the mountains. There are four bicycles available, two for height from 150cm to 160cm, and one each for 160cm to 170cm and 170cm and up. We ask that you wear a helmet while riding the bicycles. The e-bikes are for Adults only. Please check the application form at the counter with the staff to borrow a bike. You will be able to see the terraced paddy fields, ponds, and local residents on the mountain road without any traffic lights.

景色がよいです(天気によると思いますが・・・)。近くの池に錦鯉がいますし、お風呂がぬるくもなく熱くもなく、いい感じ。
とても個人的なことですが、すぐ近くに閉校になった農業高校があるのが歴史を感じられてよかったです(ちょっと近い仕事をしているので・・・)。
