What is Enoshima?
It is a small island with a population of about 100 people.
Most of the land is flat and the highest point of the island is Mount Tohmi in the north, 121.8m above sea level.
In the Edo period, a guard post was set up on the island to watch over exotic ships.
The island used to be a whaling island and is known for its fishing industry and the production of lobsters.
The island is famous for making its own soy sauce, and Enojima's soy sauce, which does not contain any additives, was called "the phantom soy sauce" and was shipped from the island. It was once discontinued due to a lack of successors, but the tradition is now being revived with a determination to keep it alive.

A few words for customers
Four years ago, we moved to Enoshima, my father's hometown, a treasure island full of memories, and started a guest house as a base for our activities to get more people to know Enoshima. In this day and age, there is nothing that can be found anywhere else on the island. But there are things that can only be found on Enoshima. Why don't you come and find something you've forgotten?
