Best part of our Japan trip

We have wonderful time staying at Satogoro. We stayed for 3 nights and Moto-san & Yasuko-san were excellent host. The house was a traditional japanese house with tatami & futon bed, and it was surprisingly very comfortable. Yasuko-san's cooking was excellent, each meal was elaborate & prepared with care. Moto-san also brought us around the area and we really enjoyed the day trips. They also let us try kimono and samurai hakama.

Thank you for sharing with us japanese culture & for the hospitality. Our stay in Satogoro was the best part of our trip and we wish to visit again in future.

True hospitality indeed!

We didn’t get a chance to experience much of the activities, but the time spent with Moto-san and Yasuko-san will truly be remembered. Great laughs, life experience shares, spectacular foods, makes language barrier didn’t seem to exist in first place. 10 years worth of stories in their guestbook is the true testament of the host’s service.

The most fun we had in Japan!

My friend and I stayed with Moto and Yeatsko in April 2024 and it was the highlight of our trip to Japan. Moto picked us up from the train station and went out of his way to make us feel at home in the beautiful old farm house. We went to a market, made mochi, drove the tractor, went for walks with their goat, tried on some old samurai clothing, and drank saki around the fire at night. We had great conversations and laughed a lot.
Yeatsko could work in a 5 star restaurant, her food was exceptional.
We had so much fun with our youthful, generous hosts and we will never forget it!! Thank you, Moto and Yeatsko, you have hearts of gold!!
