About "Komorebiso Doshi" Villa Rental
Doshi Village, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi Prefecture, is located on the border between Yamanashi and Kanagawa Prefectures.
Doshi Village is surrounded by the Kitatanzan massif and the Doshi mountain range, where you can enjoy walking and climbing, and is blessed with abundant, high-quality water from these sources.

　The Doshi River, which flows through the center of the village, is so clear that you can see to the bottom of the river. It is also home to river fish such as salmon, "char" and "ayu", as well as insects such as fireflies.
　There are also many legends and legends about this river.
　The legend of Kappa, Otohime-Sama, and Minamoto no Yoritomo is particularly famous.

　In the spring, the river is filled with cherry blossoms and fresh greenery, and in the fall, the leaves change color.
　The beautiful water enriches the rice fields and golden ears of rice breeze in the autumn harvest.

　Our rental villa, Komorebiso Doshi, opened in October 2020 and it is surrounded in nature with an added campsite, limited to one group per day. (No janitor is present)

This villa is perfect for:

　"Camping used to be my hobby, but I've been away from it since my child was born..." etc.

For those who want to enjoy the outdoors a little more comfortably, and for those who want to relax in a private space, we have opened with a house concept of "a place where you can relax without distraction."

The capacity is from 2 to 8 people and is suitable for couples, families, friends
We can accommodate anyone from couples, families, friends, camps, and training programs.
　
*You can bring your tent and sleeping bag, and sleep with your children.
If you bring your tent and sleeping bag, you can stay in the camping area.
(Accommodation fee will be charged. (Tent accommodation is also available at the same rate as in the villa, 7,000 yen/person/night)


The house is located at an altitude of 800 meters, about a two-hour drive from central Tokyo.
　It is so cool that even in summer there are sometimes chilly nights, and you will forget the heat and bustle of the city.

　The site has its campground facing two clear streams, the Doshi River and its tributary Aburazawa.
　You can set up your tent (which you bring with you), play in the shallows of the river, and enjoy river fishing such as salmon, "char fish", and "ayu fish."

　If you get tired of playing, you can lie down in your tent and take a nap while listening to the murmur of the river, birds, and insects.
　You can also enjoy roasting marshmallows with your children at the designated fire pit surrounded by the forest or talk over a glass of whiskey with your friends at the designated fire pit surrounded by the forest.

　As we are currently in the opening period, weekday rates are available on weekends and holidays.

　As we have not applied for the "go to travel," campaign we have voluntarily discounted our room rates by 35%.

Pets are not allowed on the premises.

About smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas. However, smoking is allowed on the wooden deck terrace.

[Covid-19 Prevention]
As for coronavirus countermeasures, there is no need to worry about the denseness of the virus since this is a private villa in the forest.
　The windows, sash doors, and other openings are wide and easy to ventilate.

5 parking spaces in the back of the premises. (If the parking lot is full, we will guide you to a private parking lot about 2 minutes away.

　We do not offer cleaning or bed sheet changing services during your stay, however, we provide two sheets for guests who stay two nights in a row.

　After check-in, you will be given instructions on how to use the facilities and precautions to take.
　We can also accommodate changes to the number of guests.


Cancellation Policy
　One week before the date of stay: 50%.
　Same day: 100%.　
　In the event of heavy rainfall (120mm) such as typhoons, the roads may be closed.
　As soon as the situation is known, the manager will contact you by phone. In this case, no cancellation fee will be charged.


Nearby facilities and restaurants
　Doshimura Auto Snack Shop
　The only 24-hour general store in Doshi Village. The outdoor vending machines sell ice cream, beverages, cup noodles, snacks, and more. The indoor unmanned sales corner sells a wide range of firewood, camping goods, snacks, and ice.

This is a great place to buy fresh local vegetables, local beer, ice cream, snacks, and miscellaneous goods. The most recommended products are buckwheat noodles, udon noodles, and other processed products made from watercress, which is the largest producer in Japan, as well as high-quality Doshi pork bacon and sausages that have won gold and silver awards at the DGL in Germany. The Doshi River flows behind the station, and you can enjoy strolling along with it.

Marushin Niitsu sells alcoholic beverages, snacks, ice, and daily necessities. The store is open until around 10:00 p.m. almost every day of the year, so you can count on it when you forget to buy something. Fishing bait is also available, and fishermen also stop by.

Lawson Yamanakako Ishiwari Store is the closest convenience store to Komorebiso Doshi. It is a chain store, but it is not open 24 hours a day, so be sure to check the opening hours when you use it at night.

Yamanakako Hirano Onsen Ishiwari no Yu] This is a hot spring facility in Yamanakako, but it is the closest to Komorebiso Doshi. It is located a little further down the Yamanaka side of the Yamabushi Pass, on the road opposite to the Lawson mentioned above. It is a beautiful and warm place with a lot of wood used in its construction.

Doshigawa Onsen Benitsubaki no Yu] A hot spring facility in the village. There are a restaurant and souvenir shop inside the facility.

Doshi no Yu is a public hot spring in the village. A sulfuric acid hot spring containing calcium and sodium.
Both men and women have two indoor baths and one outdoor bath.

Doshi Village Farm Park
This rural park is one of the best spots in Doshi Village where you can play in the river without entering the campground. The Murokubo River, which flows through the park, is a tributary of the Doshi River and is closed to fishing to raise young fish. When the weather is good, the river water looks slightly emerald green and clear.
Kubo Suspension Bridge and Direct Market
The Kubo Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge with a scary sign that says, "Do not cross with more than 10 people at a time. If you do your best to cross the suspension bridge, you will go straight to the mountain trail. You can buy locally grown vegetables, wild vegetables, firewood, and local miso (soybean paste) at the market in front of the suspension bridge depending on the season.

Access
The best way to get there is to use Google Maps.
If you are using a car navigation system, you can easily find your way to the Center Village Campground. Komorebiso Doushi is located across the road from the Center Village Campground's administration building.
Also, this is a narrow road at the edge of the forest, just off Route 413.
At night, deer may occasionally wander the street, so please be careful of your speed when driving.
The parking lot can hold about 5 cars, 1 or 2 in front of the building, 3 or 4 in private parking (80 meters from the building).
In case of snowfall, the national highway the path to the villa is handled by the villa's snowplow.
We recommend that you check the weather forecast for Doshi-mura and equip your car with studless tires or rubber chains, if necessary.

Precautions
Please keep the noise level down after 21:00. This is the time when the animals in the mountains go to sleep.
Also, please refrain from moving across the property as both sides are private villas.
Please be careful with bonfires, fireworks, and cigarette fires, as we are in the forest.
The altitude is high, so even in summer, it can get cold at night. Please bring a long-sleeved jacket.

We do our best to maintain the forest on our property by pruning, cutting down dead branches, removing beehives, etc. However, we are in the middle of nature, so please be careful and take care to avoid accidents and injuries.
Please do not leave food outdoors at night. Please refrain from leaving food outside at night, as it will be eaten by animals.
