硯掘り体験では、峯硯堂本舗(車で30分移動)で黄綬褒章の職人に掘りから仕上げまで教えてもらいました。思ったより本格的な作業でとても面白く貴重な体験ができました。自分で掘った硯を使うのが楽しみです。
初めての写経体験でしたが、本堂の厳かな雰囲気の中、自分のペースでゆっくりと書き進めることができました。
一人旅でしたがお寺の方はみな気さくで気楽に過ごせました。お食事も丁寧に作られており美味しかったです。お庭も素敵でした。

[About Kakurinbo]
It is only a 10-minute walk to the head temple of Nichiren Shoshu, Minobusan Kuonji Temple.
You can also drive to the parking lot of the main hall of Kuonji Temple.
At this facility, we will treat you to a memorable stay with food and experiences, such as vegetarian kaiseki cuisine with a modern twist using locally grown ingredients such as Minobu's specialty yuba and Akebono soybeans, and a festival experience that showcases the local festival culture.

-Yubatori experience:
During dinner, you can try your hand at making Minobu's special yuba.
Please enjoy it with our special ponzu sauce.
-Yoga at the temple:
Invite an instructor to the main hall of the temple to experience yoga in the cool morning air.
Beginners of all ages and genders are welcome to join.
-Hiking tour:
You will be guided to local places of interest such as Kuonji Temple and Gomyojo.
Payment is optional or can be made on-site (cash, credit card, or electronic payment).

[About Bathing]
-The spring baths are publicly available from 16:00 to 22:00.
-After check-in, please reserve a time to use the spring bath for private use.
-The bathtub is a special wine bath made with Koshu red wine from Yamanashi.
- We have traditional samue and yukata available in the facility.
Recommended ways to spend your time
This lodging facility is convenient for visiting Minobusan Kuonji Temple.
It can also be used as a base to enjoy sightseeing around Minobusan, such as yuba cuisine and washi milling.
-Cafe Zencho, a farm located in the area, offers Western sweets such as canelés and rotale, and other foreign dishes such as pasta and risotto, based on the concept of local gastronomy, which focuses on locally produced ingredients.
Kakurinbo also offers a variety of experiences unique to living in a temple, so please feel free to ask about them.
