About Myosekibo
The temple is located near the Gomyojo, the sacred place where Nichiren Shonin, a famous Buddhist, was buried, which has an ethereal atmosphere in Minobusan's Monnai district.
The temple was founded during the Genroku era (1688-1704) and has a long and deep history. The palace of the Ancestral Hall is designated as a cultural heritage of the town.
In recent years, the temple has been attracting visitors who want to experience the atmosphere of lush greenery and nature while relaxing.
Even if you don't know who Nichiren Shonin is, many visitors from all around the world come to be refreshed by the surrounding nature and the murmuring of the river.

Recommended ways to spend your time
This lodging house is convenient for visiting Minobusan Kuonji Temple.
Its also a good starting point for sightseeing in the Minobu area, such as yuba(skin tofu) cuisine and Japanese paper making.
It is only a 3-minute walk from the Gomyojo, the tomb of Nichiren Shonin, which is considered to be one of the most hidden places in the Monnai area, so please be sure to stop by when you stay here.

We have three spacious Japanese-style rooms with two rooms of 23 to 33 sq meters.
We will guide you to the most suitable room according to your needs.

There is a free parking lot on the premises.
There is also a direct express bus service from JR Shinjuku Station to Minobusan.
