Family-run small hostel Hikifune Lodge

Hostal Reposo Hikifune Lodge is located in a commercial area that extends along the old Mito Highway (Hikifunegawa Street) in the traditional Sumida City of Tokyo. It is a 2-minute walk from the Hikifune Station (Tobu Skytree Line) and from the Keisei Hikifune Station (Keisei Oshiage Line). The hostel has a unique character. The owner has an experience as host mother for foreign exchange students. She got interested in other cultures as she communicated with them, and finally she decided to renovate her house to open a hostel so that guests from overseas could have a pleasant trip to Japan. We organize various events and workshops, inviting instructors of the Japanese traditions such as kimono, flower arrangement, tea ceremony and calligraphy, in which our guests can experience different cultures, customs and values. We welcome you with a warm hospitality in our little hostel where guests and staff have a cheerful communication in a homely atmosphere. As the hostel is near the station and has a good access, we also appreciate guests who look for an easy and simple accommodation.
