About the owner
I was born and raised here, and I want to continue to protect this land as much as possible.
My goal is to become self-sufficient by growing minor grains and vegetables.
We started this project with the hope that visitors would experience the joy of living through local cuisine and agricultural experiences.
We also strive to revitalize the community through our Giant Tree Tour and Yokai Road Walking.
We would be happy if you could feel the beauty of nature and become a place of healing.
About the surroundings
The "Inn of the Sky" is located on a narrow, winding mountain road in Yamashiro-cho, Miyoshi City, Tokushima Prefecture.
A sea of clouds tends to form on days when the temperature difference between morning and evening is extreme.
During the sunrise, you can see the fantastic mountains covered in white.
Also, "Oboke Koboke" in Yamashiro Town is a place of great beauty.
It is an 8 km long gorge created by the torrent of the Yoshino River, which crosses the Shikoku Mountains after 200 million years.
The origin of its rather unusual name is
There is also a theory that the name "Oboke" comes from the old word "Hoki" which means a cliff, and "Koboke" which means "small cliff".
In Yamashiro Town, many legends of monsters have been handed down in the same form as in the past.
There is almost no flat land in Yamashiro, and the cliffs, abysses, and narrow, dark mountain roads make it difficult for people to protect themselves from the harshness of nature.
To protect themselves from the harshness of nature, and to convey the value of nature, people have been told stories about monsters and have been implicitly admonished not to go near dangerous places and not to vandalize the mountain gods.

Staying here was one of the best experiences of my life. The Hirata family were unbelievably generous and kind during my trip.
Frankly, Miyoko should be a famous chef. Her food is delicious, incredibly healthy and mostly grown on the land.
And the view… wow. Photos don’t do it justice. What an honour to experience it.
I highly, highly recommend this place.
Thank you so much to the Hirata family. I will be back.
