Wake up to birdsong in the morning and enjoy coffee on the engawa (veranda) while gazing at the rural scenery. During the day, harvest fresh vegetables in the fields or interact with friendly chickens. In the evening, enjoy a BBQ under a sky full of stars, or gather indoors for projector movie nights and board games — spend your time exactly as you like.

During your stay, you'll have exclusive use of the entire renovated storehouse and the surrounding private space.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven, stainless steel gas stove, rice cooker, kettle, coffee maker (drip & hand-drip), toaster, basic cookware, and tableware, making self-catering stays possible.

Enjoy movie nights and board games in the spacious living room, equipped with a projector.

The property has two bathrooms, each with a shower. Please note there is no bathtub.
A washer-dryer is also available, making longer stays comfortable.

🌾 Farm Experience
Depending on the season, you may be able to see the vegetables we grow in the fields or interact with our chickens. As this is our precious farm, we kindly ask that you treat the plants and animals gently.
🐶 Meet Our House Dogs
Two friendly medium-sized dogs, Miri and Miro, live on the property. They love interacting with guests, but if you'd prefer not to have contact with them, just let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate.
🔥 BBQ Rentals
The following rentals are available at the private BBQ space:
・Weber charcoal grill: 1,000 yen (BBQ tools included; please bring your own charcoal)
・Coleman gas grill: 3,000 yen (includes one gas canister)
You're also welcome to bring your own BBQ equipment. Open flames and bonfires are prohibited for safety reasons.
🎆 Fireworks
Hand-held fireworks may be enjoyed in the garden. Out of consideration for neighbors, please refrain from loud fireworks or aerial fireworks. A bucket of water is provided for fire safety.

🌿 About the Natural Surroundings
The property is surrounded by rice paddies and farmland in a nature-rich setting. As a result, insects such as mosquitoes may be present, especially in summer. We provide mosquito coils and insect repellent spray, but if you're sensitive to insects, we recommend bringing your own preferred repellent.
🚗 About Access
The final approximately 100m to the property is a narrow farm road running between rice paddies. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you an accurate Google Maps pin and a photo-guided access map, so even first-time visitors can arrive with confidence.

The Surrounding Area

WAIN is located in Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture, at the gateway to the Nasu and Nikko areas — a location where you can fully enjoy both nature and sightseeing.
The city offers a wealth of attractions, including river fishing in the "Naka River," one of Japan's top rivers for ayu (sweetfish) catches, "Kurobane Kanko Yana" where you can enjoy ayu cuisine, forested areas such as Mt. Yamizo, the highest peak of the Yamizo mountain range, and Mt. Koteyasan, which offers distant views of Mt. Fuji, and the "Prefectural Nakagawa Aquatic World," a rare freshwater fish aquarium in Japan.
Just under a 10-minute drive from the property, you'll find the roadside station "Nasu Yoichi no Sato," a direct-sales outlet for Otawara City's agricultural products and specialties, as well as "Otawara Onsen Taiyo no Yu." You can purchase local specialties to enjoy in your room, or savor dinner and a hot spring bath at the dining facilities within the onsen.
