"Mori No Kominkan" Log Cabin Guesthouse

"Mori No Kominkan" concept is the "sound of dreams." There are various bungalows, campsites, outdoor stage, treehouses, and a large multipurpose room all to which you can choose from.

The main facility "Mori no Kominkan"- can accommodate up to 31 people. Perfect for large groups, families, school trips. It also comes equipped with a large space that can be used for various activities. Kitchen and bath are also provided.

2 Types of Bungalows- Surrounded by trees and nature, relax in a lovely wooden cabin. Up to "3 facilities" available.

The Mori No Kominkan is located in the mountainous rich nature town of Kanagi.
Don't forget to try the local hot springs:

Throughout the town you can enjoy fireflies, rare bugs, stream fishing, strawberry/grape picking and horseback riding.

Kokufu Beach and Iwami Seaside Park are the closest beaches to enjoy a nice swim. (About 25 minutes by car)

Summer Activities
"Ishishu Hamada Summer Festival" - Hamada City also holds a big summer festival every year in early August, near the fishing port. Various local artist, traditional dance performers and more get together to welcome in the summer. There are also 5,000 fireworks that are launched during the festival.

- We make sure to air out all of the rooms whenever possible, as well as have all staff temperature checked daily and wearing mask at all times.

- We also ask that you wear a mask whenever inside the building and your temperature will be recorded at check-in.

[Why I started the facility]
For the past 50 years, an amateur music group in the town has been developing their mountain and building their own studio, camping ground, and other multi-generational exchange facilities, which have attracted the attention of the national government. Since 2005, Yume no Ondaikai has been managing this facility for the local city.

[A word to our guests.]
Our popular facilities were built by hand with the participation of many citizens. The "Tree House" also known as the best hideaway in the sky in the prefecture. The hand-built "Camping Ground." The "Barbecue Terrace" attached to the bungalow.

There are other popular facilities, such as the "Forest Community Center and Bungalow", which was built with local funds and has a reputation for its low cost and cleanliness. In addition to the accommodations, you can see the live performances by famous visiting artists and others .

This is a highly recommended spot for families, as well as various events, camps, corporate training camps, and club meetings.
