We will show you some great places known only by the local guides.
We can explore the city in small groups and at a slower pace if you already visited the city once and wish to see more of it.
■Create candles using Bengara (red ocher color pigment)
You can create candles based on your own design and take them home as a souvenir.
■Cook your meal in a traditional cooking stove after chopping wood (1 cooking stove available per day)
It takes some time but isn’t a well-earned meal tastier? Enjoy some traditional Kyoto side dishes with it!
■Try your hand at Bengara pottery
Create anything from tableware items such as plates or cups to Zodiac animals figurines stands. You can bake your pottery in a traditional oven if you wish.
■Embark on a soothing journey
We will try our best to offer you meals that you like and a comfortable environment. Take the opportunity to listen to your soul and body and reconnect with yourself.
■Make your own flower candle
Create your own candle using peonies, the local flower in Takahashi.
It’s possible to do this activity in 30 minutes only if you’re short on time. You can take home the candle you made.
Note: children must be accompanied by an adult to do this activity since we use hot wax.
■Try Japanese stencil dyeing
Use bengara pigment to create a unique souvenir! It’s very simple, you just have to apply paint on a piece of cloth. Everyone can do it!
You can decorate handkerchiefs, eco bags and tote bags.
