The city of Bungo-Takada was once a manor house for nobles in the Heian period (794-1185).
Bungo-Takada City is known as a land of Buddha after Nara and Kyoto due to its background as a noble manor in the Heian period (794-1185).
There are more than 60 temples and shrines scattered throughout the city.
Also, there are many places to visit, such as the city with its Showa retro atmosphere and the "Koi Kano Road", a marriage spot by the sea.
The city is so full of "fun" that it is impossible to visit it all in one or two days.
