Sadomari -Izumi no ie-, designed by world-renowned architect Jun Watanabe, is a carefully restored traditional Japanese house on Sado Island.
Inspired by the island’s cultural heritage and the unique, non-ordinary atmosphere of a historic kominka, the concept is to “spend your off-travel time in a protected, peaceful place,” with thoughtful design down to the smallest detail.

The interior preserves original wooden beams and the main pillar of the traditional structure, offering both comfort and refined quality as a place to live.
Traditional buildings remaining on the property, such as an earthen storehouse and barn, add depth and richness to the stay, creating an authentic Japanese countryside experience.

Ideal for family trips and group travel with friends, as well as long-term stays for international guests visiting Japan.
