うしだ屋さんにて雪国の暮らしの大変さ、美しさ色んな事を教えて頂き、体験させて頂き人生にとって貴重な体験になりました。
ご飯も全て美味しく、特にうしだ屋さんが作っているコシヒカリには感動しました。
今回は冬の景色でしたが、今度は春の景色も見てみたいです。

DESCRIPTION
Here in the middle of terraced rice-fields country of Niigata, Farmstay USHIDA-YA is just the best place to enjoy the real Japanese traditional farmstay as the orner family is also running a organic rice farm arround the village.
The farmhouse is more than hundred years old, but renovated in 2017 to become more cozy and confortable to stay.
You can use a livingroom with a wood stove, two cozy bedrooms with Futon mattress, the bathroom with cute bathtub and two showers, and kitchen with a fridge, gas and microwave.
Also you can choose the meal option which the orner, the English speakable rice farmer, will guide you the traditional way of rice cooking and miso-soup making.
Farmstay USHIDA-YA is not so far away, in fact one of the closest accomodation, from the famaous terraced rice-fields of Hoshi-touge. There's an option which you can see the superb sunrise view, "Hoshi-touge Sunrise Tour", so please just pray for the good weather forcast if you want to enjoy this.

僕の様な若者が農泊の体験を通して、生きるに向きあう。そんなきっかけになる場所
二泊三日で宿泊させて頂いて、ありがとうございました。
僕は仕事柄、ホテルの宿泊が多くて農泊は初めての体験でとっても楽しく、豊かに泊まらせて頂く事が出来ました。
その中でも僕が特に印象的だったのは、宿泊の日々の中で自然の豊さを農泊で感じる事が出来た事です。
「暖かいってだけで幸せになれる。」
「アナログの良さ。」
「ご飯を美味しく食べる。」
僕の中では、どこかに泊まるという事は快適さが求められる事で
そこにあるのは便利さや、快適さだと思います。
それに反して、農泊の中では快適さや、便利さももちろんありましたがそれ以上にあったのは豊さや、日常への感謝です。
うしだやのご夫婦の方々は、それを体現される生き方をされていて今の時代だからこそ、僕の様な若者が農泊の体験を通して、生きるに向きあう。そんなきっかけになるのではないかなって思っています^^

米が旨い！雰囲気、最高！次は春にいきたい！
都会の喧騒に疲れた人や子供に豊かな自然を体験させたい人には、むちゃくちゃお勧めです！
個人的に感じたお勧めポイントと感想
・「米」がむちゃくちゃ旨い！！アイガモ農法で作った自家製の新潟産米。米をおかずにして米が喰えるぐらいうまかった～
・「うしだ」さん一家がステキ！農泊には珍しい３０代の若いご夫婦と１歳の看板娘。つかず離れずの接客ですごい「ほっと」して癒される。
・体験メニューが聞くとやるでは大違いで面白い！「集落と棚田ガイド」や「わら細工体験」もやる前はそんなに期待してなかったけど、実際に経験すると勉強になったりプチ達成感を得られたりと面白い。あと、星峠ツアーは朝早いけど絶対おすすめ！
・集落と里山の雰囲気と空気感。周辺には田んぼと山とぽつん・ぽつんとある古民家しかないけど、木々の葉音や水と風の音だけなのが逆にいい。今の時期は薪ストーブの音もいい
値段は他の農泊よりもちょっと高いけど、コスパは最高に良い！
次は春に行きたいな～
