About Guest House/ Cafe
A 120-year-old private house located at the foot of Mount Kongo in the Katsuragi area of Nishisami.
It was opened in 2018 for people to experience life in an old house where the gods are said to dwell at the foot of Mount Kongo Katsuragi.
We accept only one group per day (maximum 8 people).
We try our best to provide a warm-hearted service.
We also provide a desk and chair for remote working.
There are also walking trails, barbecue facilities, campfire facilities, bathrooms, and other facilities around the facility.
In addition to the bathrooms, there are also outdoor baths.
If you would like to use the barbecue and campfire facilities, please let us know when you make your reservation.
About the accommodation plan
The room rate is limited to one set per day (maximum 8 people).
You can also stay with a group for consecutive nights.
Meals are not included in the room rate, so please choose from the options.

We would like you to enjoy the view and breathe in the natural surroundings.
In 2018, we renovated a 120-year-old house and started a bnb service.
We explain the history of Gosho City to our guests.
Nearby are Takagamo Shrine, Takamahiko Shrine, Katsuragi Gotoshi Shrine, and Katsuragi Hitotsunushi Shrine.
There is also the Katsuragi Hitotsunushi Shrine nearby.
I will sometimes take you to these shrines after we have talked.
We will ask you how you would like to spend your time.
If you wish, we can help you harvest and cook vegetables in the garden.

It is located in Gosho City, Nara Prefecture, in the heart of the Yamato mountain range (the Omine (including Mt.) and Odaigahara mountain ranges).
Filled with rich nature where you can see the entire Yamato mountain range from your garden.
Please enjoy the view with the tranquility of the satoyama.

Takagamo Shrine 5 minutes by car.
The shrine is dedicated to the guardian deity of the Kamo clan, an ancient powerful family.
It is the head shrine of all Kamo shrines in Japan, including Kamigamo and Shimogamo shrines in Kyoto.
It is one of the oldest shrines in Japan where rituals have been performed since the mid-Yayoi period.
The main shrine (designated as a national important cultural property) was rebuilt in 1543.
Inside the main shrine are guardian dogs with inscriptions by Kaikei.
The Japanese primrose in full bloom from April to May.
They were brought back from Kyoto by the previous priest and increased in number.
There are more than 500 species and about 2,000 pots.
Takamahiko Shrine 10 minutes by car
This is the supreme deity of the Katsuragi clan, an ancient powerful family.
The shrine enshrines Takamahikojin, the supreme deity of the Katsuragi clan, an ancient powerful clan, who ordered a messenger to take over the country to Izumo.
The shape of the shrine is old, and like the Omiwa Shrine in Sakurai City, the deity is a mountain.

Katsuragi Gosai Shrine (15 minutes by car)
The deity resides in the mountain behind the main shrine.
The current main shrine was moved from the first main shrine of Kasuga Taisha in the Edo period.
Katsuragi Hitotsunushi Shrine 15 minutes by car
The official name of the shrine is Katsuragi-za Hitotsunushi Shrine.
The local people call him "Hitotsun-san" (meaning "one word" in Japanese), and he is said to have fought with Emperor Yusei.
The local people call him "Ichigon-san", and he is well known as the god of wishes.
It is believed that any kind of wish can be fulfilled with just one word.
In the precincts of the temple, there is a large ginkgo tree, estimated to be 1,200 years old, and a monument to the haiku poet Matsuo Basho.

Soba is organically grown buckwheat noodles sent directly from a farmer in Rangoe, Hokkaido.
The buckwheat noodles are organically grown and milled in a stone mill the day before they are used.
