Yukiura Guest House Moritaya / River 2

Moritaya is the first guesthouse in Yukiura, located in Saikai
City (between Sasebo and Nagasaki City), Nagasaki Prefecture! A 90-year-old old house was renovated and opened in May 2008 as a place to connect travellers and local people, and is
run by the NPO Yukiura Anpanne.
Although it is a guesthouse, all rooms are currently offered as private rooms.
There is also a 16-tatami-mat tatami room and an earthen
floor, where training sessions and parties can be held.
The veranda in the tatami room is ideal for sunbathing.
Between Nagasaki City and Sasebo City, Yukiura, Osedo Town, Saikai City, is a beautiful and quiet countryside with four
distinct features: the sea, rivers, waterfalls and mountains.
Yukiura is also home to a variety of specialists, offering SUP,
surfing, kayaking, sunset cruising, fishing, making kodama, meditation, farming, music therapy, beauty treatments, aroma
massage, miso and amazake making, and much more.
You can enjoy luxury and not just stay overnight in Yukiura!

Western-style rooms (capacity for 4 people)
There are four rooms in total, each with a different capacity.

Accommodation Plan
Meals are not included in the room rate. The accommodation
plan does not include meals.
The rates shown are for single occupancy; additional charges
apply from the second person.

■Children's rates.
Children under school age and sleeping with an adult: half the adult rate.
　Please confirm the detailed price in the message at the time of booking.
If your child is under school age but needs bedding: same
price as adult.
　Please add the number of children to the number of guests when you make a reservation and inform us of the presence of children in your message.

Shared space
The rest of the rooms are shared spaces. The hall and the
earthen floor are also available for use.

■ Bathrooms.
There is one bathroom and one shower room.
Toothbrushes, shavers and laundry detergent are available for sale, and bath and face towels are available for rent.

■Meals.
Meals are not included in the room rate.
The on-site kitchen is available for use.

There are three within walking distance. Please enquire about opening days and hours.

[Shopping].
There is an agricultural cooperative A Co-op a 5-minute walk away.
There are two local supermarkets and two convenience stores within a 10-minute drive.

[Yukiura event].
Every year during the Golden Week in May, there is a town walking event called ‘Yukiura Week’. People who love Yukiura and
live or work here participate in this event. By opening their homes and workshops to the public, the event has been held for 20 years as a face-to-face exchange that both visitors and hosts can enjoy together. The event is very busy, with as many as 10,000 people visiting every year.
The town of Yukiura can be enjoyed throughout the year.

transfer at Sakura-no-sato Terminal. 1 minute walk from
Shimogama bus stop or 5 minute walk from Yukiura bus
