Farmstay Liscia - A farmstay in Shinano-Omachi at the foot of the Northern Alps

We hope to provide you with a peaceful retreat amidst the beautiful natural surroundings of the Satoyama. We would be delighted if you found happiness through our authentic Japanese lifestyle experiences and our heartfelt, home-cooked meals. We hope this place becomes a warm “second home” for you.

[A Request to Our Guests]
① Farmstay Liscia is not merely a place to stay. Even guests who book room-only accommodations are expected to participate in the “experiences” we offer. Please be aware of this in advance.

② This is not a whole-house rental. It is a homestay-style accommodation where you will be staying in the host’s home. Bathrooms and toilets are shared with the host.

③ When submitting a reservation request, please include the following information in your message:
・Guest details (age range and gender of all guests)
・Your address

④ We accept reservations until 9:00 PM, 5 days prior to your stay.


■Accommodation Information
The base rate is for room-only (no meals).
Guests who wish to dine at Satoya should select the required number of breakfast and dinner options. We accept requests up to 5 days prior to check-in.

◇Example of a booking for 2 guests for 1 night
For 1 night with breakfast: 2 guests (room-only) + Breakfast Option [2]
For 1 night with 2 meals: 2 guests (room only) + Breakfast Option [2] + Dinner Option [2]

*If you have dietary restrictions or food allergies, please notify us at least 5 days prior to check-in.

*We do not serve or sell juice or alcohol. Please bring your own preferred beverages.


■About Children's Rates
We offer children's rates for elementary school students. Please select the appropriate number of children's rate options.

There are three options for children's rates:
・Room only
・Breakfast included
・Dinner and breakfast included

※Guests in junior high school and older are charged the same rate as adults. Please include them in the total number of guests when making your reservation.

*Preschoolers stay free of charge. However, meals and bedding are not provided (they will sleep in the same bed as an adult). If you require meals or bedding for a preschooler, please select the appropriate children’s rate option.

Check-in: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Check-out: By 1:00 PM

The host will greet you in person to complete the check-in process. Please fill out the guest registration form upon check-in.

By Train: 6-minute taxi ride from Azumikutsukake Station on the JR Oito Line, or 11-minute taxi ride from Shinano-Omachi Station

*We can arrange transportation upon request. Please ask when booking if you would like this service.

By Car: Approximately 30 minutes from Azumino IC on the Nagano Expressway

*Free parking available (3 standard-sized cars)

How to Make the Most of Your 24-Hour Stay at the Farmstay

[Day 1]
1:00 PM Check-in
1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
・Harvesting from the vegetable garden
・Boiling the Goemon bath
・Preparing and cooking dinner (cooking rice in a traditional hearth)
6:00 PM　Dinner (robatayaki)
8:00 PM　Bath (Goemon bath with herbal bath salts)
After bathing, feel free to chat by the hearth

[Day 2]
7:00 AM: Wake up
After waking up, collect eggs from our chickens
8:00 AM: Breakfast
After breakfast, take a stroll to see the National Treasure, Nishina Shinmei Shrine, and other sights
12:00 PM: Lunch (upon request)
Please choose from the optional menu: “Stone-oven pizza” or “Handmade soba noodles.”
1:00 PM: Check-out

We are also happy to suggest other ways to spend your time based on your schedule. Please feel free to ask us for recommendations.


■Important Information
① Please note that there is no air conditioning, as we want you to experience the natural breeze at the foot of the Northern Alps.

② We do not provide toiletries (such as face wash, toothbrush and toothpaste) or pajamas, so please bring your own. Face towels and bath towels are provided.

③ Soap and shampoo are provided, but please bring your own if you have specific preferences.

④ Please bring clothing suitable for outdoor work and activities.

⑤ If you are sensitive to insect bites, please bring insect repellent spray.

⑥ While there have been no bear sightings in the vicinity of the lodge at this time, please refrain from going out early in the morning or in the evening for safety. Bear bells are available.

We have 2 bedrooms. Bedding is provided for 6 guests.
