NEW LISTING DEC 2018: A 6-bedroom (2-20 person) private ski-in/out self-catering lodge with kitchen/bar and recreation room at Togari Onsen Resort. Nozawa Onsen Village is just 15 minutes away by car! Located in Nagano’s snow country (world’s deepest snows!) Perfect for families and large or small groups. Both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Great central location for snow sports, snow monkeys, culture, and more. Over ten other resorts are super close. Year-round hiking and activities too!
LOCATION:
The lodge is located mid-mountain at Togari Onsen, so you actually ski down to the door and ski down to the lifts! These access courses are maintained by the resort, so your ‘private’ runs are both less than 100 meters from your door. It is truly a snow enthusiast’s paradise. The access runs are not difficult, but true beginners should not use them until they are confident on their feet.
The lodge is at the end of the road and is the highest property at Togari Onsen. It is well spaced from its neighbors and commands wonderful views of the ski resort, snow-covered rice fields, and the forested river gully. Here you can enjoy privacy, peace, and seclusion.
Even though this is one of the snowiest parts of the world, the roads are kept surprisingly clear. Our unique position allows you to ride just a few meters from (on some days right to!) the front door and still be able to drive away. To those interested in renting or leasing a car, which we highly recommend, we can assist you in the process.
