●About Meal
Our participative cooking and local cuisine have been well-favored by guests.
Harvest over 10 different kinds of home-grown vegetables and cook local specialties such as Chicken Nanban (fried chicken with vinegar and tartar sauce) and Hiyajiru (cold miso soup) with utilizing those fresh seasonal veggies.
For breakfast, the western-style menu will be focused and you can enjoy the locally-produced precious honey of Japanese bees with toast.
Let us enjoy having dinner and breakfast together in the living area.

Hand sanitizers are placed throughout the accommodation and guests are encouraged to disinfect their hands by using those.
●About this accommodation
The house was built more than 150 years ago and has the largest beams you've ever seen in the attic.
We started the homestay business with the hope that our guests would be able to cook and eat meals that make the most of locally grown ingredients.
There are earthen floors and tokonoma (alcove) that are not easily seen in modern homes.
You can spend your time in a room that gives you a sense of nostalgia for the past.
Not only children, but people of all ages can enjoy our good fashioned and spacious rooms.

-Udon Making (per person 1,000yen)
You can experience making Hokita-Hassengoku Udon noodles, a specialty of Saito-City.
This can be a local production and consumption noodle using local specialty green peppers.
By kneading the peppers into the dough, the appearance is brighter and the bitterness is reduced, so even children who don't like peppers can enjoy this dish.
-Miso Ball Making (per person 1,000yen)
You can experience making a ball of miso to make miso soup simply by putting it in hot water.
You can take home the miso ball you made.
We will also provide you with a recipe, so why not try making your own miso balls at home?

It is a group of tumuli which is about 12 minutes away from the accommodation by car.
This ancient tomb was built about 1700 years ago.
Here you can enjoy beautiful scenery made with flowers for each season.
You can also learn about ancient Japan at the Saitobaru Archaeological Museum, which is located on the grounds with free admission.

It is located 10 minutes from the accommodation by car and is a locally popular hot spring facility.
The natural hot spring gushing from 1,000 meters below ground is effective in treating neuralgia and joint pain.
There are indoor and outdoor baths, a sauna, and a resting place where you can heal your body after a long day of agricultural experience.

The newest hot spring facility in the city.
It is a hot spring facility and is good for muscle and joint pains.

Wouldn't you like to heal your daily fatigue in a hot spring where you can taste the blessings of nature and be one with the vast nature that spreads out at the foot of the Saitobaru tumulus cluster?

It is a long-established eel restaurant established in 1894.
The restaurant is so popular that even celebrities come here.
You can eat not only eel dishes but also Gojiru, a specialty of the Saito area.
