[About Learning House Hinowa (Circle of Sunshine)]
Gakubisha Hinowa (Circle of Sunshine) is a homestay where you can experience country life to the fullest by farming pesticide-free rice and vegetables, eating rice in a cauldron, and cooking in a kamado (Japanese style cooking).
The best thing about this facility is the food!
We choose each ingredient and seasoning with care. We especially recommend Hinowa for parents who are interested in teaching their children about healthy eating.
Our goal is to provide travelers with a heart-warming homestay experience where they can touch the soil, harvest the food themselves, cook together, and gather around the table together.

[Recommended ways to spend your time]
Hinowa is also an alternative school.
We have created an environment where children can enjoy spending time with animals, swinging, and climbing trees.
We do not use pesticides or chemical fertilizers in our fields, so please feel the comfort of the sun and wind as you touch the soil in the fields with various insects and plants.
I suggest you use all your senses, touch, sight, smell, and taste, to try and see how fresh and fragrant the freshly picked vegetables are in season!
There are oceans, mountains, and rivers nearby. In the summer, you can go swimming and play in the river. In winter, you can enjoy a relaxing cup of tea by the fire.
If the weather is good, you can see the stars very beautifully at night. Enjoy the real starry sky that looks better than a planetarium.
There is a place nearby called Kitaura Critical Market Kitaura, which sells Nobeoka foods and seasonings founded right in front of the sea. Be sure to stop by after spending your days at the farmhouse. You can enjoy cruising as well. (make sure to reserve in advance).
Please feel free to come as if you were returning to the countryside.
We will provide you with the warmest hospitality.
