○About the Accommodation
Located in the northernmost part of Miyazaki, the inn is in the nature-rich Kitagawa town surrounded by mountains and rivers on the border with Oita Prefecture.
Around June you can enjoy the world full of fireflies and starlight.

We are currently in preparation for some optional activities that will appeal to guests, such as;
・Cooking Class focusing on locally picked mugwort weeds
・Sweet peas picking
・Fireflies appreciation walking tour

Dinner: Mainly serving a Japanese set meal with homemade vegetables
In the autumn season, we will offer fresh ayu (sweetfish) cuisine.

Limited to one group per day.
A minimum of one guest is allowed.

Bathing must be available from check-in to 10 pm.
Soak in the hot water and relax from the road.

・Nobeoka’s Ayu-Yana (Ayu fish fishing place)
　Nobeoka City is known as the hometown of water, and in the fall, and ayu (sweetfish) yana (a pattern of fishing gear) is set up.
The scent of burning ayu fish grill on the riverbed, which has been a tradition for more than 300 years, has selected as one of the "100 best-scented landscapes of Japan".

Some of Saigo Takamori (a famous historical figure of Japan associated with this area)’s personal belongings and military items are exhibited here.
It is said that Saigo’s men fled to Kitagawa during the decisive Wadagoe Battle and formed an encampment at this site.

At an altitude of 1,644m, Mt. Okue is the featured mountain of the Sobo Katamuki Quasi-National Park. The area offers extensive cliffs, natural forests, and a variety of trails for climbers. Many rare plant species can be found along the trails and visitors can enjoy the magnificent colors of every season.
