◉About the Inn
Shimaura Island is about 10 minutes away from Urashiro Port in Nobeoka City. Even when I came to the island, there were few places to stay, so I started to stay at a private accommodation because I wanted you to enjoy playing on the island slowly. We welcome our customers with the desire to "think of it as my hometown and stay at the hotel" and "I want you to play with the island as much as possible."
We propose a variety of island play, but in addition to sea play such as island tour, fishing, coral watching, snorkeling, etc., it is recommended to trek Mt. Tomoh in the center of the island. When you are informed of your stay, please consult with us about what kind of play you would like to play on the island. If you are new to Shimaura, you can have a strategy meeting on the island. If you wish to eat, we offer some home-style dishes, such as sashimi and stewed dishes, using fresh fish from the island. It is handmade and makes ponzu and ume miso, but it is popular. Breakfast is based on Japanese cuisine, but if you stay for consecutive nights, you can enjoy a variety of dishes, such as Western food on the second day.
When the weather is bad, you can't enjoy playing on the island, so you may be refused accommodation. In spring, roses and bougainvillea are in full bloom, so it's worth seeing. Why don't you come and enjoy the nature of Shimaura in the mood to visit your relatives' house?
