A lodge in the temple of Takachiho is rented out.

This lodge is located in the historic Jodo Shinshu Temple "Shonenji" in Takachiho Town. This luxurious inn combines Japanese and Nordic style. When you want to use it at an event or if you want to stay in large numbers, we have prepared a full rental plan for each building.
The room is decorated with ceramic works, woodwork, straw work, and a selection of paintings, photographs and kimonos by foreign artists. In addition, the shared space on the first floor, while placing a fireplace and hearth made in Canada, incorporating custom-made stained glass and transoms in the sliding door, such as using a polished floorboard of 100 years built on the floor, We have created a rich and relaxing space by harmonizing Japanese and Western well.
You can read books, chat and relax in a calm atmosphere that is different from usual, with bookshelves and art arranged throughout the building. There are 5 Western-style and Japanese-style rooms. A maximum of 11 guests can stay. Each room has a theme color and is color coordinated.
Meals are basically self-catering, but the breakfast includes bread, cereals and drinks, so you can eat as you like.
If you wish, you can participate in various experiences in the temple, such as morning work, morning and evening bells, and the priest's story.
