◎About this accommodation
The owner was a sailor shipping on overseas routes for about 40 years. Since he returned to Japan, he has started a homestay business in order to revitalize the region, utilizing the rich natural environment where he was born and raised.
This old house has been renovated with a particular focus on living in harmony with nature.
There is a tasteful and iconic wooden table in the center of the living room where guests can enjoy chatting together.

○About Accommodation Plan
Rental for the entire house and can accommodate up to 8 people.
The rates shown are for one person without meals (tax included); the extra charge for 1 additional person is from 7,800yen.
＊We don't have a special rate for children. Please contact us for information on infants or toddlers under 2-years- old who do not need to use bedding.

○Measures against COVID-19 infectious disease
All staff is required to do gargling and handwashing thoroughly and indoor space will be ventilated as often as possible.
Guests are also kindly requested to wear masks, wash their hands, gargle, and take temperature checks.

○About Meals
Meals are prepared with home-made rice and fresh vegetables harvested from the fields.
Please enjoy river fish and gibier cuisine that unique to the mountain area.
For both breakfast and dinner, guests can enjoy meals together in the shared area while chatting about various topics with each other.

○Experience Activities
－Pizza making and smoked dishes making (4 or more people)　 1,000yen / person
Please enjoy baking pizza in a special stone oven and smoking food with cheery chips.

－Fishing 200 yen/person
You can fish for Yamame (landlocked salmon) and trout.
(The fee is for fishing only.)
Fishes caught by guests can be grilled and eaten on-site or taken to the home.

－Spring: Edible mountain plants picking 2,500yen / person
You can take edible wild plants such as bracken, royal fern, udo(spikenard), bamboo shoots, etc. as much as you like.
As the edible wild plants can be harvested is depending on time, we will have a brief lecture about the seasonal tasty edible mountain plants for you.

－Autumn: Chestnut picking 300yen / person
Chestnuts are priced at market value (estimate: 1,000-1,500 yen per kilogram).

○About the Rooms
The owner was very particular about the renovation of the house. You can feel the warmth and scent of the wood from the rooms.
Room type:
2 Japanese style rooms (6 tatami-mats, with 3 futon bedding)
1 Western-style room (with 3 beds)

Each room can accommodate up to 3 people, so you can stay with your family or friends.
Please note that the rooms are not equipped with a key.
Basic amenities such as towels and shampoo are available for guests to use.
Free Wi-Fi is available!

A scenic spot in Suki, the water flowing from Mamako Waterfall is quite a sight to behold. There is the Ayanami Dam nearby and the view from the dam is spectacular.

There is a public spa, a rest area, and facilities for seasonal natural experience activities.
The chestnut festival is held in September and the waterfall festival is in May.
Local products, such as “Suki Brand”, “N. Damoshitan” of Kobayashi Wine, and “Suki Shochu” are sold in the souvenir store.
