It is a whole house rental plan.
The rates shown are for one person without meals (tax included).
Each additional person will be extra charged from 7,800 yen.
○About the meals
The menu will focus on Japanese cuisine made with Miyazaki beef, a specialty of Miyazaki, and vegetables from the home garden.
The vegetables vary with the season, please enjoy fresh seasonal vegetables.
In spring, we have Tempura made with Sansai (edible mountain vegetables), such as bracken or aralia sprout.
BBQ is also available, please contact us for more information. Grills and nets are available for rent-free.
The breakfast will be served with Japanese-style food such as grilled fish or Japanese roll omelet.

○About Farmstay Kokokyan
This property is renovated from a log cabin and an old house by the owner himself with the idea of creating a relaxing space that suitable for farm stay.
The owner is particular about his handcrafted furniture and the Irori (a traditional Japanese sunken hearth) in the living room.
Guests can use this Irori with Nabe meals (Japanese style hot pot cuisine) from autumn to spring.
How about taking a leisurely walk in a forest or enjoy the fantastic view from the top of a mountain to heal yourself from daily fatigue?
We also run a café located at the entrance of the Kyomachiya Onsen as a place for relaxation and refreshment for local residents.
The café sells bread and pizza, so please stop by for a quick bite!
○Measures against COVID-19 infectious disease
All staff is required to do gargling and handwashing thoroughly and indoor space will be ventilated as often as possible.
Guests are also kindly requested to wear masks, wash their hands, gargle, and take temperature checks.

You can pick two kinds of seasonal vegetables and take them home with you.

-Pizza Making Experience 1,000 yen ~

In this experience, each group will make one piece of pizza.
We will prepare the dough in advance, please enjoy to create your original pizza by using a variety of vegetables as a pizza topping.
Baking with gas oven will take about 30 min; with a stone, the oven is about 1 hour.

The owner who also runs a bakery will share his tips and recipes of bread baking with you.
One loaf of bread (0.6kg) per each group.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to create your own bread which is crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
- Sansai (edible mountain vegetables) picking experience (Only in spring) 500 yen ~
Enjoy the harvesting and picking of edible mountain vegetables such as Shiitake (a Japanese mushroom), bracken, aralia sprout and etc.
Tempura made from vegetables harvested by yourself must be particular and tasty.

- Soba noodles making experience 500 yen~

Available from winter to spring.
The best part of this experience is the enjoyable time of making noodles with friends, no matter the shapes of noodle is too thin or too thick.

2 Japanese style room is available.
Room with 6 tatami-mats sizes is up to 3 guests; room with 4.5 tatami-mats sizes is up to 2 guests.
※Please note that the bedrooms are not equipped with locks.

Masaki Station is known as the first station in Miyazaki, and the station building has been preserved as it was in 1911.
The "Bell of Happiness" is located in the center of the platform.
It is said that those who are slightly happy ring the bell once, those who wish for more happiness ring it twice, and those who are really very happy ring it three times.
Admission tickets are available to purchase, so why not stop by to ring the bell?

-Kyomachi Onsen (hot springs)
16 different hot springs are able to enjoy here, including Ashiyu (soaking feet only in public hot springs), Yubiyu (soaking hands only in public hot springs), and family baths. Please refresh yourself by soaking in the hot springs and take a breath from your daily fatigue.
You can find restaurants and souvenir shops nearby as well, so how about stopping by on your way back home?
