[About Zao Sansuien]
The Matsukawa River flows through the garden, allowing visitors to enjoy riverside strolls while admiring the Zao Mountain Range. A clear stream teeming with fireflies, the stream that gave the garden its name "Seseragi no Sato" (Burning Village), also flows through the garden, maintaining its purity to this day, making it a popular habitat for fireflies.
A village bursting with color throughout the seasons: verdant spring, refreshing green leaves in summer, autumn foliage, and silvery white winter. The garden, brimming with nature, changes color with the changing seasons, with trees, flowers, and shrubs. It is also home to many wild birds.
We have a 24-hour security system in place, with patrols of the grounds every two hours at night to ensure safety and security.
