Yokko Villa A private hot spring villa in Zao

Guests who make reservations after November 1, 2024, will receive a 1,000 yen meal voucher per person per night, which can be used at Sakai Coffee and nearby restaurants for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Pets are welcome to stay with you. A spacious dog run is available on the property, allowing your furry companions to play freely in a safe environment. Enjoy a fulfilling and memorable time with your pet.

The interior of the villa combines traditional Japanese aesthetics with modern Western design. Soft natural light filters through traditional shoji screens, creating a tranquil and warm atmosphere. The fusion of refined Western furnishings with natural Japanese materials offers a premium, relaxing stay.

By booking both "Yoko" and the adjacent "Gekko," up to 10 guests can be accommodated.

[About Pets]
-Only dogs are allowed.
-Up to 3 small dogs or 2 medium/large dogs are permitted.
-Dogs must be well-trained and vaccinated.
-Dogs in heat are not allowed.
-Leaving pets alone in the villa is not permitted.
-Pets are not allowed on the second floor.
-The dog run is shared with "Gekko".

“Yoko” is a pet-friendly rental villa with a natural hot spring. It is a two-story, 2LDK layout suitable for up to 5 guests.

■ 1st Floor
Living Room & Dining & Kitchen
-Living Area: Comfortable sofa and large-screen TV.
-Wood Stove: Available from December to March. Firewood is sold at the Visitor Station (¥2,000 per set, enough for one night; includes firewood and fire starter).
-Dining Area: A dining set for 5 people is provided.
-Kitchen: Island kitchen with a 3-burner gas stove. Cooking utensils, rice cooker, microwave, and tableware for 5 are provided.
※ Food, seasonings, and cooking oil are not provided.
※ Dishwasher is not available.

Usage Rules
-Bringing electric griddles or similar devices is prohibited. Please cook only in the kitchen.
-Be mindful of odors and oil residue.
-Please wash and return all used dishes and utensils to their original place.
-If you break any items, please inform the Zao Sansuien Office or Visitor Station.

-One set of traditional Japanese futon bedding is also available.

-Air Conditioning: Available in the living room and both bedrooms.
-Parking: Space for 4 regular cars. Garage not available.

■ About Your Stay
“Yoko” is a fully private rental villa for up to 5 guests. Meals are not included in the accommodation fee.
-The base price covers up to 4 guests. Additional charges apply for a 5th guest.

Children’s Pricing
-No special child rates. Children aged 2 and older are counted as adults.
-Children under 2 stay free, but no bedding or towels are provided.
-If bedding is required for children under 2, please include them in the number of guests.

Amenities
-Towels and toothbrushes are prepared in the room upon arrival.
-One bath towel per person is provided for every 2 nights.
-Please do not take towels home.
-If additional towels are needed:
--Bath towel rental: ¥330/piece
--Face towel purchase: ¥220/piece
Available at the Visitor Station between 9:00–20:00.

Additional amenities (razor, cotton swabs, body towel, hairbrush) can be picked up at check-in or at the Visitor Station between 9:00–20:00. They are not delivered to the room.

-Standard check-in time is from 15:00 to 20:00.
-Check-in after 20:00 is possible but may be restricted during certain hours.

“Yoko” is located inside Zao Sansuien, a gated community. The entrance gate requires a remote key, which is provided upon check-in. You cannot enter directly without checking in first.

The villa is a 3-minute drive from the gate.
No pick-up or taxi arrangement service is available.
Walking from the Visitor Station is possible, but using a car is recommended for convenience.

[Please Be Mindful]
-“Yoko” is in a residential area with full-time residents. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially outdoors at night.
-Complaints may result in immediate eviction.
-Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the premises.

■ BBQ Facilities
BBQs, fireworks, or any open flames are prohibited within Zao Sansuien.
If you wish to enjoy a BBQ, please use the nearby “Gaia Village BBQ” (1-minute drive from the entrance gate).
-Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
-Open hours: 11:00–14:00 / 16:00–19:00 (2 sessions).
-Please inquire after confirming your reservation.

■ Access
We recommend arriving by car for convenience.
-15-minute drive from either Shiroishi I.C. or Murata I.C. on the Tohoku Expressway
-15-minute drive from Miyagi Kawasaki I.C. on the Yamagata Expressway
-30-minute drive or taxi from Shiroishizao Station (Shinkansen)

Parking
-Up to 4 standard vehicles. Garage use is not permitted.

■ About Zao Sansuien
A clear stream, Matsukawa River, runs through Zao Sansuien, offering beautiful riverside walks with views of the Zao mountain range. The stream known as “Seseragi no Sato,” named for its abundant fireflies, still retains its pristine beauty.

The garden is filled with vibrant seasonal colors—fresh green in spring, cool foliage in summer, autumn leaves, and snowy winter. Seasonal plants and wild birds are abundant.

24-hour security is in place, with patrols conducted every 2 hours during the night for your safety and peace of mind.
