SUI is a two-story private villa with a natural hot spring bath.
Layout: 3LDK (three bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen).

Living & Dining

Situated on an elevated area, the living room and balcony offer unobstructed views of the Zao mountain range.
An air conditioner is available in the living/dining room.
The dining area includes a six-seater dining set.

Note:
There is a wood-burning stove, but it is not available for guest use.

Kitchen

A full system kitchen with a 3-burner gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, and tableware for all guests.
Cooking utensils are also provided.
Food, condiments, and cooking oil are not supplied — please bring your own.

Rules:

Bringing and using hot plates or similar appliances is prohibited.

Cooking is allowed only in the kitchen.

Please avoid leaving odors or grease stains.

Wash and return all used dishes and utensils to their original place.

In case of breakage (e.g., dishes), report it to the Zao Sansuien Management Office or Visitor Station.

Balcony

Outdoor table and chairs are provided.

BBQ, smoking, and conversations at night are prohibited on the balcony.

🛏 Accommodation Details

SUI is a private villa accommodating up to 7 guests.
Meals are not included in the room rate.

The base rate covers up to 4 guests.
Additional guests (from the 5th person onward) are charged an extra fee per person.

Children aged 2 and over are charged the same as adults.

Children under 2 years old stay free (no bedding or towels provided).
If bedding is required, please include the child in the total guest count.

Amenities

Towels and toothbrushes are provided in your room upon arrival.
Each guest receives 1 towel per 2-night stay.

Notes:

Towels may not be taken home.

If you need extra towels, you can rent or purchase them at the Visitor Station (9:00–20:00):

Bath towel rental: ¥330 each

Face towel purchase: ¥220 each

Razor, cotton swabs, body towel, and hairbrush are available at the Visitor Station.

🕒 Check-In Information

Check-in is available 15:00–20:00.
Late check-ins (after 20:00) are possible but must be arranged in advance, as reception hours are limited.

15:00–20:00 → Sakai Coffee Sansuien-mae Branch

After 20:00 → Zao Sansuien Management Office

SUI is located within the gated resort community of Zao Sansuien.
Guests will receive a remote gate key upon check-in.
Please note that you cannot enter the villa directly without passing through the gate.

Distance: approx. 9 minutes by car from the entrance gate.

No shuttle or taxi arrangement service is available; please come by car.

Important Notice:

The area around SUI is a residential zone. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially outdoors at night.

Complaints from neighbors may result in immediate eviction without refund.

Smoking is strictly prohibited on the entire property.

🍖 BBQ & Fire Use

All forms of open flame (BBQ, fireworks, etc.) are prohibited within Zao Sansuien.

Guests wishing to BBQ may use Gaia Village BBQ, located just 1 minute by car from the main gate.
Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance.
Operating hours: 11:00–14:00 / 16:00–19:00

We recommend coming by car for convenient access to sightseeing and dining.

15 min from Shiroishi I.C. or Murata I.C. (Tohoku Expressway)

15 min from Miyagi-Kawasaki I.C. (Yamagata Expressway)

30 min by car/taxi from Shiroishi-Zao Station (Shinkansen)

Parking

Space for 2 standard cars is available on-site.
For 3 or more cars, an overflow parking lot nearby can be used.

🌲 About Zao Sansuien

Zao Sansuien features beautiful streams such as the Matsukawa River, offering scenic walks with views of the Zao mountain range.
The “Seseragi no Sato” stream runs through the area and remains so pure that fireflies still thrive there.

The resort showcases seasonal beauty — spring greens, summer foliage, autumn colors, and snowy winters — along with diverse wild birds.
A 24-hour security system ensures a safe and peaceful stay, with patrols every two hours at night.
