Hot spring cottage Stella is located in an area where a stream
flows and the pleasant sound of water can be heard. How
about tea time on the deck beside the stream, feeling the
sound of the water and the gentle breeze? On chilly days,
there is also a sunroom where you can relax while gazing at
the stars in the clear night sky.

The baths, where you can soak in comfort while gazing at the stream, are free-flowing from the source. Relax and unwind
after a long day.

There is a large parking space for three cars and three
bedrooms (all with air conditioning). The layout is suitable for
families of several generations. Relax the way you like in the
living room with a large sunken kotatsu, counter and sofa.

Spend an extraordinary healing time in a waterside hot spring cottage where you can find your own way to enjoy yourself.

Smoking is not permitted on the premises of Onsen Cottage
Stella.
The property is close to the main gate of Zao Sansuien and is an 8-minute walk from a convenience store. The location is
convenient for guests arriving by bus, but a car is required for dining and sightseeing excursions.

●About the rooms.
Hot spring cottage 'Stella' is a two-storey rental villa with a natural hot spring, with a 3LK layout with three bedrooms.

■1st floor.
Living room
There is a 4-seater sofa and a horigotatsu. Part of the room (by the window) is tatami. A sunroom facing outside allows you to bask in the sun, doze off or gaze up at the stars at night.

*Wood stove available.

■Kitchen.
Next to the living room is a kitchen with a counter. The kitchen is equipped with a system kitchen (3 induction hobs),
microwave, toaster, rice cooker and other cooking utensils, as well as tableware for the number of people staying in the
house. *No foodstuffs or condiments are provided.
Please bring your own.

[Please note that no hotplates, etc. are allowed.]
Hotplates and similar items are not permitted. Please cook
only in the kitchen. Please make sure that no odours or
grease remain.

Please clean all cooking utensils and dishes after use and
return them to their original place. If you break a plate, please report it to the Zao Sansuien Management Office or Visitor
Station.

(The bathtub is large, so it takes a little time to fill up.)

■About accommodation
Hot spring cottage Stella is a rental cottage that can be rented out in its entirety and can accommodate up to 6 persons.
Meals are not included in the accommodation price.

If there are five or more guests, an additional fee will be
charged for each additional person from the fifth person
onwards.

Children's rates
Children aged 2 years and over pay the same rate as adults.
Please include them in the number of guests in your booking.

Children under 2 years of age stay free of charge,
but no bedding or towels are provided;
if you require bedding for children under 2 years of age, please include them in the number of guests staying.

■Amenities.
Towels and toothbrushes will be set in your room upon arrival. One towel is provided for every two nights.
1-2 nights: 1 bath towel and 1 face towel each.
3-4 nights: 2 each of bath and face towels
5-6 nights: 3 each of bath and face towels

Please do not take home towels that have been pre-set.
*If you need more towels, please use the bath towel rental
(330 yen/piece) and face towel sales (220 yen/piece)
(available at the visitor station = check-in location from 9:00
to 20:00).

Please bring the following items from the visitor station when
you check in or between 09:00 and 20:00 if necessary
(we do not deliver to your room).

■About check-in
As a rule, please check in between 15:00 and 20:00.
Please note that check-in is possible after 20:00, but there are times when it is not possible to accept guests.

The check-in location depends on your arrival time.
You will be informed of the details after your booking has been confirmed.

Onsen Cottage Stella is located in the villa management area
Zao Sansuien. There is a gate at the entrance to Zao Sansuien and guests are required to open the gate with the remote
control key given to them at check-in.
It is not possible to go directly to Onsen Cottage Stella without passing through the gate.

Hot Spring Cottage Stella is a 2 - 3 minute drive from the
check-in point. There is no pick-up service or taxi dispatch
service from the check-in point to Onsen Cottage Stella.
The location is close to the main gate of Zao Sansuien, which
is convenient for guests arriving by bus, but a car is required
for dining and sightseeing excursions.

[important information]
The area around Hot Spring Cottage Stella is densely
populated with buildings. There are many permanent residents in the area, so please take extra care not to talk outdoors at
night. If there are any complaints from neighbours, you may
be asked to leave immediately.

Smoking is not permitted on the premises of Hot Springs
Cottage Stella.

■Barbecue facilities
The use of fire, including barbecues and fireworks, is prohibited in Zao Sansuien.

Guests wishing to barbecue should use the Wild Zao Village
BBQ facilities, located 1 minute by car from the entrance
gate to Zao Sansuien (reservations are required for up to three days). It is open in two parts: 11:00-14:00 / 16:00-19:00.

■ Access.
For convenience of sightseeing and dining, we recommend
coming by car.
15 minutes by car from the Shiroishi I.C. or Murata I.C. on the Tohoku Expressway.
15 minutes by car from the Miyagi-Kawasaki I.C. on the
Yamagata Expressway.
30 minutes by car or taxi from Shinkansen Shiroishi Zao
Station.

Parking
There are parking spaces for three standard-sized cars;
for more than four cars, please use the temporary parking
lot a short distance away.

[About Zao Sansuien]
The Matsukawa River flows through the garden, and visitors
can enjoy a walk along the riverbank while enjoying the view
of the Zao mountain range. The stream, which gave rise to the name 'Seseragi no Sato' (village of streams), is still pure
enough to be inhabited by fireflies.

A village abounding in seasonal colours Fresh green in spring,
fresh green leaves in summer, autumn leaves in autumn and
silvery silver in winter. In the nature-rich park, trees, plants
and flowers add colour to the seasons as they change.
It is also home to a large number of wild birds.

A 24-hour security system is in place and patrols the garden
every two hours during the night to ensure safety and security.
