■ Property Overview
ZAO PEAK is one of the world’s largest and the first Albergo Diffuso–certified accommodation in the Tohoku region.

The interior features refined gray tones and a hotel-like design. The high-ceiling living room with an open atrium is filled with natural light, creating a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. Relax on the soft sofa and enjoy a peaceful stay away from everyday noise.

The villa includes a spacious earthen-floor entrance, shoe cloakroom, and inner terrace, making it ideal for guests enjoying outdoor activities such as trekking and snow sports. It is located in Zao Sansuien – Seseragi no Sato, offering convenient access to shopping and sightseeing areas.

Special cash vouchers are provided for use at Sakai Coffee (11-minute walk) and nearby restaurants.

ZAO PEAK is a two-story private villa with a natural hot spring.

■ 1st Floor
・Living & Dining Area
A bright living space with high ceilings and large windows. Equipped with a sofa, large TV, and a separate dining table.

・Open Island Kitchen
A spacious kitchen for cooking together with family or friends.
Equipped with a 3-burner IH stove, cookware, and tableware for all guests.
Ingredients and seasonings are not provided. Please bring your own.
A tabletop IH stove is also available.

・Bathroom (Natural Hot Spring)
Natural hot spring bath with free-flowing source water.

・Toilet
Equipped with a bidet-style washlet.

■ 2nd Floor
・Bedrooms
Two bedrooms are available:

Western-style room (approx. 10 tatami size): 2 double beds

Western-style room (approx. 8 tatami size): 2 single beds

For groups of 7 or more, Japanese futon bedding will be provided.

The villa has 4 beds and 3 futon sets. Up to 6 guests are recommended, but up to 9 guests may stay if double beds are shared.

■ House Rules
・Bringing in hot plates or similar appliances is prohibited. Cooking is allowed in the kitchen only.
・Please avoid leaving strong odors or oil stains.
・Wash used cookware and tableware and return them to their original locations.
・If any items are broken or damaged, please report it to the Zao Sansuien Management Office or Visitor Station.

・Toothbrush: 1 per guest per stay

Towels must not be taken home.
Additional towels are available for rental or purchase at the check-in location (7:30–19:00).

The following items are available upon request at the Management Office or Visitor Station:

Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided in the bathroom.

■ Noise Policy
The property is located in a residential area with permanent residents nearby.
Please keep noise to a minimum at all times.

・Outdoor conversations are strictly prohibited between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM
・Complaints from neighbors may result in immediate eviction without refund

■ Check-in Information
・Check-in time: 15:00–19:00
・Late check-in is possible, depending on availability

Check-in locations:
・15:00–20:00: Visitor Station
・After 20:00: Zao Sansuien Management Office

Guests must complete check-in procedures before entering the property.
Direct access without check-in is not permitted.

ZAO PEAK is located 2–3 minutes by car from the check-in location.
No shuttle or taxi arrangement service is available.

■ Barbecue & Fire Use
The use of fire, barbecues, and fireworks is prohibited within Zao Sansuien.

Guests wishing to barbecue may use “Wild Zao Village,” located 1 minute by car from the main gate.

A car is required for sightseeing, dining, and shopping.

・Approx. 15 minutes from Miyagi-Kawasaki IC (Yamagata Expressway)
・Approx. 30 minutes by car or taxi from Shiroishi-Zao Shinkansen Station

■ About Zao Sansuien
The estate features rivers, walking paths, and views of the Zao Mountain Range.
Clear streams, home to fireflies, flow through the area, preserving a rich natural environment.

The area offers seasonal scenery throughout the year and is monitored with 24-hour security patrols to ensure a safe and peaceful stay.

There are two bedrooms on the second floor.
Western-style room (10 tatami mats) with 2 double beds
Western-style room (8 tatami mats) with 2 single beds

In addition, 2 sets of futons are available.
We recommend a maximum of 6 people, but a maximum of 8 people can be accommodated in a double bed with 2 people per bed.
