Enjoy a blissful time in a stylish loft-style log house!
This is a completely private log house. After passing through the open wooden deck, you will be welcomed by a luxurious living room made of logs. Please enjoy a special time while warming yourself by the wood stove and enjoying wine and food.

【Important: Check-in/out time】
Please check in/out at the "Zao Sansuien Management Office" or Visitor Station, which is about 10 minutes by car from ZAO LOG HOUSE (depending on the time of day).

*There is no shuttle service between the Management Office or Visitor Station and the accommodation. If you use any means of transportation other than a car, please arrange a cab by yourself.

Please do not forget to return the key to the Zao Sansuien Management Office when you leave. We will inform you of the details after your reservation is confirmed.


■Accommodation Plan
ZAO LOG HOUSE can be rented out for up to 9 people at the same rate for up to 4 people, with an additional charge for each additional person.

Meals are not included in the room rate.
Children over 2 years old are charged the same rate as adults.

[Requests to Guests]
Please be quiet at night. Please be careful not to talk outdoors at night, as there are many permanent residents around this building. If there are any complaints from the neighbors, you may be asked to leave the building immediately.

■About the rooms
On the first floor, there is a living room with a wood stove, a kitchen, a bath (not a hot spring), and a toilet. Next to the living room is a bright room with windows on three sides. (*The use of the wood stove is currently under consideration.)

The kitchen is equipped with a minimum of cooking utensils.
Please enjoy your meals in the kitchen in the log house as well as eating out or bringing your own food (*No seasonings are provided. Please bring your own food and seasonings.) Please bring your own food and condiments.


On the 2nd floor, there are 2 bedrooms, a loft, and a balcony. Bedding is provided as follows
Bedroom 1: 2 single beds
Bedroom 2: 1 single bed
Loft: 2 single beds
In addition to the above 5 single beds, 4 futon sets can be prepared.
There is one air conditioner on the staircase landing. There is no air conditioner in the living room or bedroom.


◎Minimal contact with staff
During your stay, you will only have contact with our staff twice: at check-in and check-out. The rest of the time, you are free to spend your time in your own space.

Hygiene measures for a safe stay
Before welcoming guests, we provide sufficient ventilation and wipe down the facilities and equipment with alcohol disinfectant.
We provide alcohol spray for hand disinfection at the entrance of the facility.
Hand soap is available in the washbasin.

■Cautions for use
Zao Log House is a rental villa that can be rented out in its entirety. You are free to use the house as you please, observing all rules and regulations until your departure. No staff will enter the house except in case of emergency.

【The main prohibited items are as follows.】
* No one other than the reserved number of people may enter the villa (regardless of the length of time).
* Use of fire in the facility in general.
* No barbecues, bonfires, fireworks, or gathering of plants and trees on the premises.
* Smoking and burning incense in the facility
* Cooking that leaves a strong smell, such as grilled meat indoors.
* Pets are not allowed in the rooms
* Minors only.
* General activities that disturb neighboring residents.
* Hair dyeing in the bathroom

ZAO LOG HOUSE is located at a high elevation, so there is a lot of snowfall in the area during the winter, and snow and icy road surfaces may occur. In addition, the wind blows strongly, so visibility may be poor. Please be sure to install winter tires or anti-slip devices such as tire chains.

■Other precautions
* Please be quiet at night so as not to disturb residents in the area.
* Please note that the furniture, interior, fixtures, facilities, and equipment are subject to change without notice.
* Please prepare consumable goods by yourself when you finish using them.
* Please take care of your own cleaning and sanitation during your stay. Cleaning supplies are provided.
* Please be aware that the property is located in a natural area and may be infested with insects and other pests.
* Please wash the dishes and utensils provided and return them to their original place after use.
* Please clean and return all utensils and cooking utensils to their original locations after use.
* Please be careful with the equipment and appliances provided.

【In case of any defacement of the facilities or equipment】
In the event that the facilities or equipment are defaced, the actual costs necessary to restore them to their original state will be charged. Please be careful when using the facilities.

Please come by private car or rental car.
* It takes about 30 minutes by car from the Shiroishi IC or Murata IC on the Tohoku Expressway.
* It takes about 55 minutes from Sendai Station by car.
* About 35 minutes from Shiraishi Zao Station by car.
* Approximately 60 minutes from Sendai Airport by car.
