apetera" is a Scandinavian interior store in Tomiya, Miyagi Prefecture that produces "spaces where happiness dwells.

Experience the Scandinavian style you have always dreamed of, and the villa stay you have always wanted. We promise you a very satisfying stay. A washing machine is available for mid- to long-term stays. We also recommend using the house as a "home-stay".

About the Accommodation Plan
Troll's House is limited to one group per day, with a maximum of six people staying in a private house. The accommodation fee is the same for up to 4 people, and an additional fee is charged for each additional person from 5 people.
Meals are not included in the room rate.
Children over 2 years old will be charged the same price as adults.

About the rooms
On the first floor, there is a living/dining/kitchen area, a wooden deck, and a natural hot spring bath and toilet. on the second floor, there are two bedrooms with two single beds

# Living room, dining room and kitchen
There is a wood-burning stove for guests to use. The living room sofa and dining set are of course in Scandinavian style. Enjoy your meals and relax in a simple yet stylish atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped with a system kitchen and cooking utensils. You can use it for cooking during your stay. (*Please note that cooking over the wood stove is prohibited.

# Wood deck
There is a wooden deck outside the living room. Please use it for tea time and meals. (*Please note: BBQ is not allowed on the wooden deck.

# Bath
The baths are natural hot spring water. The bath is a natural hot spring, with the source running clear.

# Bedrooms
There are two Western-style bedrooms on the second floor. Both rooms are furnished with two single beds. Both rooms are furnished with two single beds and two futons, so they can accommodate up to six people. Both rooms have a simply stylish atmosphere with Scandinavian style furniture, accessories, and wallpaper.

◎Minimal contact with staff. Your own space
During your stay, the only contact between you and the Sansui-en staff is at check-in and check-out. The rest of the time you can spend freely in your own space.

Sanitary measures to ensure a safe and comfortable stay
Before welcoming guests, we provide adequate ventilation and wipe down the facilities and equipment with alcohol disinfectant.
Alcohol spray for hand sanitizer is available at the entrance of the facility.
Please take your temperature when you check in.
Hand soap is available at the washbasin.

For guests arriving by car
During the winter, it is necessary to install winter tires, such as studless tires or chains, when driving.
There is a steep slope on the road from the Zao Sansui-en management office, where you can check-in, to the accommodation.

From Miyagi-Kawasaki I.C. on Yamagata Expressway, drive about 15 minutes.
About 30 minutes by car or cab from Shiraishi-Zao Station on the Shinkansen bullet train.
About 50 minutes by highway bus from Sendai Station

About Zao Sansuien
Troll's House is located on the grounds of Zao Sansui-en, a villa overlooking the Zao mountain range, and is fully managed for your peace of mind. There is a tennis court on the Sansui-en grounds, and a swimming pool is open in the summer. (*This is also available for guests staying at our facility!

The hotel is located near Togatta Onsen, a hot spring resort, so you can enjoy the hot spring as well.

A short drive from the inn, there is the popular "Fox Village" where you can meet fluffy foxes, and "Kami no Yu" where you can enjoy day trip bathing at a reasonable price.

The Matsukawa River flows through the park, and you can take a walk along the riverbank while enjoying the view of the Zao Mountain Range. The stream, which was the origin of the name "Seseragi-no-Sato" (village of murmuring fireflies), runs through the park and remains so pure that fireflies can live there. The park is filled with the colors of the four seasons: spring with fresh greenery, summer with green leaves, autumn with red leaves, and winter with silvery white leaves. The park is full of nature, with trees, flowers, and flowering plants adding color to the seasons. The garden is also home to many wild birds.

Secure management system
A 24-hour security system is in place.
The garden is patrolled every two hours during the night to ensure safety and security. If you need anything, please contact the management office.
