"Marukinmaru" is a cozy guesthouse available for rent.
It's a traditional Japanese house. It features a two-story detached house, a spacious wooden deck, and an outdoor living area. Enjoy a relaxing time with family and friends, without any worries.
"Marukinmaru" is the name of the fishing boat we actually board.
The sea where we fishermen work shows us different faces every day and every hour. While it brings us bountiful bounty, it can also be a very dangerous place with harsh conditions. It's said that the fishermen who head out to sea add the single character "maru" (circle) to the end of their fishing boat's name in the hope of their safe return.
We hope this inn will also be a place where guests can always return with peace of mind. We named the inn after our beloved fishing boat, hoping to foster connections that will encourage those who visit to return again and again.
We truly look forward to meeting you at "Marukinmaru."

■Access
◇By Car
Drive along the Ise Expressway from Ise-seki IC. Pass the Sewa-Taki JCT, then exit at Tamaki IC. The tour takes approximately 40 minutes.
When entering Asoura, some navigation systems may direct you to a very narrow, old road. It is safer to take the route that passes through Minamijima Bridge and Asoura Bridge, two tourist spots in Minamiise. We recommend using the latest navigation system or a smartphone map app.
*Private parking is available near the guesthouse. Please contact us when you arrive nearby.
◇Using Public Transportation
Take the train (JR or Kintetsu) to Iseshi Station and then board a Mie Kotsu bus.
From the "Iseshi Ekimae" stop, board the bus bound for "Minamijima Road" and it will take approximately 60 minutes to the last stop. Transfer at Minamijima Road and board the bus bound for "Asoura" for approximately 10 minutes.
*The optimal transfer method will vary depending on the time of day.
