KAGEYAN NO IE - Old house with lush green terrace

Kageyan-no-Ie is located in Misugi-cho, Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, surrounded by mountains and rich in nature. Behind the house, there is a thickly growing zelkova tree that is over 100 years old, and a stream flows below. The house has a terrace where you can fully enjoy the forest and the murmuring of the stream. Enjoy BBQ on the terrace or take a relaxing walk in the
forest.

If you go down to the river, you can play in the river and enjoy bonfires. There is even a waterfall. Forest bathing in the Misugi Forest. We hope you will feel nature with your whole body and refresh yourself... We hope you will feel refreshed and enjoy
nature with all your body.

We accept reservations for two persons only. We do not accept reservations for one person.
The basic room rate is for two people staying overnight with
no meal included. Meals are not included.
This is not a private house. A caretaker will be on duty during your stay.

About the rooms
This 70 year old house has been renovated to look like a mountain cabin, keeping the quality of a Japanese house. The bath and shower have been renovated. The bath and shower have been remodeled, so everyone can enjoy a comfortable stay.

Bedrooms
Two Japanese-style rooms (6 tatami mats) with a maximum of 6 futon mattresses.
The two rooms (12 tatami mats) can be separated by a
fusuma (shoji screen or glass).

Work Room
A Western-style room with a desk and two sofa beds. One to
two guests can sleep here.

Terrace
The terrace is surrounded by trees and overlooks a stream.
You can freely enter the terrace during your stay. BBQ on the
terrace is great when the weather is nice.

BBQ is only allowed in the designated area on the terrace. The owner will guide you on the day.

*Fires are not allowed on the terrace (please use the garden
next to the entrance for bonfires. (Please use the garden next to the entrance for bonfires.)

Remodeled system bath. Please use it freely from check-in to
check-out.

Dyeing your hair, taking a bath after drinking alcohol, or
leaving the bath water running is prohibited.

■Terms and conditions of accommodation
The basic accommodation rate is for two persons on an
overnight stay with no meals. Meals are not included; additional charges apply for each additional person from 3 persons.
The room can accommodate a maximum of six people.

Children's rates
Children's rates are available in addition to the adult rates.

Children's rates are for children of primary school age and
under who use a futon. Rates for junior high school students
and above are adult rates.

Rates for children who have not yet entered primary school.
Children who sleep with their parents without a futon can stay free of charge.

□About meals
Currently only breakfast is available.
Hagama rice experience - rice cooked together in a hagama.
Rice cooked in a rice kettle ➕ (miso soup, pickles, salmon, a
dish, hot spring egg, natto and fruit) 1,500 yen per person.

Reservation meals are available at extra cost and payable locally. Please make your reservation at the time of booking or after confirming your reservation via STAY JAPAN message.

You can bring your own ingredients and cook in the kitchen.
Cooking utensils and plates are at your disposal. Seasonings:
salt and pepper, soy sauce, sauce, salt, sugar and oil are available. Please bring your own condiments.

BBQ stove rental (BBQ stove, charcoal, igniters, tools and
charcoal clean-up) 2,000 yen

Fire pit rental (fire pit, wood, tools, fire pit clean-up) 2,500

Prohibitions and precautions for use
Prohibited items
Smoking is not permitted in the premises. (Please strictly
observe the rules. Please smoke outside in designated areas).
Bonfires on the terrace are prohibited.
No noise at night or in the early morning. BBQs and bonfires
on terraces and other outdoor areas must be finished by
21:30. Please be considerate so as not to disturb neighbours.
Pets are not allowed to enter or stay overnight.
