We do not provide meals during your stay. You can use the kitchen in the main house for cooking or barbequing. There are also delicious restaurants near the guest house.
Coronavirus Preventative Measures
The entire building is reserved for private use. You and your guest will be the only ones staying.
As part of our activities to utilize the richness of local resources, the non-profit organization "Joint Plus" has started a home-stay program to preserve and re-use a 145-year-old traditional Japanese building.
We hope you will enjoy the feeling of "Japanese" living in a comfortable traditional house.

About Our Rooms
There is one building with the main guest house that is your room.
We will give you a brief explanation of the room when you check-in.
The main house includes 7 Japanese style rooms, a kitchen, earthen floor, barn, restroom.
Depending on the guest, there may not be enough hot water. We also provide free a free hot spring facility that is nearby the guest house completely free.
The charm of Odaicho is its great nature
- The Miyagawa River, which runs through Odai Town, has been selected as the best river in Japan 11 times in the past according to the water quality survey of the first-class river by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, and is a clear river that attracts many people to play in the river and fish for sweetfish. Many climbers also visit the Osugi Valley Hiking Trail and the surrounding mountains, including Mt. Forget the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a slower pace of life in the midst of nature and rural scenery.

Special "Ayu" fish dishes made by the producers! In addition to a variety of ayu set menus, we also offer rare dishes such as "Heshiko", a preserved food made from ayu. Both salted and candied ayu are very popular. In addition to sweetfish dishes, you can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes. The menu is also available as an Izakaya (Japanese style pub) from Thursday to Sunday in the evening. You can enjoy popular sweetfish dishes for dinner or as snacks for drinks. In addition to ayu (sweetfish) dishes, there are many other eye-catching menu items such as green curry and grilled eel (reservation required).

For traffic, sightseeing and dining convenience, we recommend that you come by car. Free parking for up to 10 vehicles is allowed on the premises.
