We spend four wonderful days in this beautiful house in Mikiura. Takeshi is a very warm, helpful and welcoming host and gave us lots of great tips. The house has a stylish atmosphere and is furnished with beautiful things, just like in the photos. Everything is very clean and the beds are super comfortable! The kitchen is well-equipped, and as a family of four, we lacked nothing. We immediately felt at home and can highly recommend this place. It was an inspiring time and we hope to be able to come back very soon!

DESCRIPTION
Mikiura fishing village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains, and is located close to the World Heritage of "Kumano Kodo."
Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese style house.
Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum.
We only take one reservation at a same time so when you stay at Mikiura-Guesthouse is yours to use privately.
You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature.
Our house is Japanese ordinary old house not like a commercial hotels or Japanese Ryokan.
So please understand some door sill hight and ceiling hight are not high enough and floor has some gap between passage to room.
House was renovated but some part of the place are still looks rustic. But please enjoy and understand these are typical Japanese house in the country side. "This is a real experience of Japan ! "
Once you step in to the guesthouse, you can feel traditional Japanese interior and construction.
The atmosphere of the guesthouse is decidedly relaxed and quiet.
Guesthouse is a great location for swimming / snorkeling / diving / fishing / sea kayaking / walking / trekking / cherry blossom viewing and more!

How to Use Mikiura Guesthouse
*Futon
Guests are required to lay out their futons at our guesthouse. Please also remove and put on sheets and covers.
*Bathroom
Our guesthouse has a cypress bathtub.
Guests are responsible for filling the bathtub with hot water.
Hand towels, bath towels, body soap, shampoo, etc. are provided for your use.
*Dishes
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after meals. Please also wash dishes, glasses, etc.
*Laundry
Use of the washing machine is ¥300 per use. Detergent and fabric softener are available.
There is no dryer. There is a rope stretched in the garden where you can dry your clothes outside.
*Heating Fee
Heating fees in winter are ¥1,000 per day. Please select from the options.
*Internet
Wi-Fi is available throughout the inn.
*About bringing in alcoholic beverages
You can bring in alcoholic beverages along with food to our guesthouse. Please thoroughly wash glasses and dishes after use and return them to their original location.
*Regarding use by non-guests
If friends join us for a dinner or other function, a facility usage fee of ¥1,500 per person will be charged.

For seminars, meetings, banquets, etc., a separate quote will be provided.
