This is a free-standing house, which is unusual for Japanese cities. 3 good-sized bedrooms, balcony and toilet upstairs, and large-sized kitchen and family room downstairs, with shower and separate toilet. Very clean. Best of all, host Kimiko is easily contactable anytime and very helpful, and has good English. Location is 5 min walk from a station, which is only 5 min away from central Kyoto. The house even has parking if you have a car instead.
