Beautifully renovated end of 2015 with antique features and modern comfort, this 70-year old kyo-machiya houses 4 guests maximum. It is warm and comfortable in winter, with heating in each room and floor heating in the living area. In summer, the beautiful tsuboniwa and nice shady location will help you bear the summer heat. SItuated in a quiet and residential neighbourhood a few setps away from Mibu Dera and the disctrict of the shinsengumi, with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and shops at less than 10mn walk, this house will allow you to experience what living in Kyoto really is, away from the big crowds of tourists. Ideally located at less than 10mn walkfrom the Omiya Randen station going directly to Arashiyama, and the Omiya Hankyu railway direct to Shijo Karasuma and shijo Kawaramachi as well as Umeda (osaka). There is also a bus stop to Itami airport and Kansai airport at 10mn walk (at Omiya station)
