"Ryuukinka no Sato" is a new type of guesthouse where you can stay and experience something never seen before.
Ryuukinka no Sato is a 150-year-old private house that has been renovated with a balance of traditional country living and modern spaces to create a modern Japanese architecture that will heal the body and soul of visitors.
It is a modern Japanese building that gives visitors a sense of well-being. We are promoting urban-rural exchange as an "eco-museum of food" by reexamining "food" from various perspectives and connecting local resources, people, nature, culture, history, and the wisdom of our ancestors in a complex manner.
Local Museum
The town of Asagiri, where the museum is located, is a basin surrounded by mountains, and its name comes from the fantastic fog that appears in the morning from spring to autumn.
Also, the clear water carried by the Kuma River, the soil rich in nutrients, and the large difference in temperature between day and night make for an environment in which crops grow very deliciously. Ryotaro Shiba, a Japanese writer of history and literature, described this area as "the richest hidden village in Japan" in his travel book "Kaido wo Yuku".
The hotel has a beautiful Japanese garden, and the world view that unfolds in the garden is well known not only to Japanese people visiting from all over the world but also to inbound guests.
