While looking at the bunk dam, I steadily climb up the mountain, and finally I can finally get through a farm road where one car passes. The altitude is 380 m, the slope is a tea field one. The main business is a tea production farmer. It is the 2nd generation of the husband of Yuko Hamakawa who is the host, and he was said to have been a rice farm until then. Currently cultivating strawberries, rice, various kinds of vegetables, fruit trees and the like besides tea, rich in bamboo shoots and wild plants and mountaineering on mountains.
The inn is open in 2006. The guest room is a two-story house. Once refurbished where the cow cottage was exterior and the roof was intact.
When you arrive, Yuko will make a cup of tea. Green tea and black tea are outstanding flavor.
Dinner is a kaiseki style, many items, all using seasonal vegetables of autogamous cultivation. We will have you at the open lounge which has blown up to the second floor.
As we can accommodate up to 10 people, we recommend using groups for rafting, college students, family travel etc.
【Interior of commitment】
On the second floor is a bedroom, meals and banquets in the first floor lounge. Also, the piano is placed and the concert is held. Interior of the room, patchwork, dolls and accessories etc are handmade by the inside. A wood burning stove is active in winter. Sunlight from the window attached facing the tea garden is bright, you can spend comfortably.
The bathroom is away, it is also handmade and attractive as it is clean and easy for women to enter even with the stroll like a rock bath.
【All of you are welcome! 】
· Foreign students, travelers:
A traditional landscape called tea garden is seen and you should be impressed with the dish using local materials.
Also, the warm smile of your husband and wife can communicate beyond words.
For those families who live in urban areas for quite a quiet mountain inn, you will be able to refresh both mentally and physically. Cooking delicious tea, you can taste the luxury that sucks the mountain's full of air. Because it is a house, I can spare time alone with my family.
· Silver generation:
You will be healed by the scenery with river and rice paddies. Because it is an old and rustic inn, it is perfect for those who like nature and history. Country cuisine reminds us of old times and talks will be exciting.
· Student · 30s · 40s group
Perfect if you are interested in food and agriculture. It is good to remember how to make tea and go home. It is recommended to use it to some extent. The range of activities also expands. I can spare it without hesitation because I am away.
· Active faction
Because it is a mountainous area, we recommend trekking and hiking. In addition, it is good to use it as a common hobby companion, such as rafting, spending it with sports companions such as cross country, etc.
Various experiences can be made according to other seasons, making tea (June to August), strawberry picking and jam making (January to April).
※ Depending on the season of agriculture, we may not be able to meet your request.
Dinner is luxury like Kaiseki cuisine. Although it is not flashy at all, every one is carefully made. For example, home-made soba deep fried egg soup, tea flour tofu and tea salt, homemade konnyaku and home-made pickled miso ... .... Handmade using self-cultivated vegetables. Fried chicken fried eggs, deep fried venison, fried fish and meat are also from the ground. Moreover, we continue to challenge ourselves as home-made miso, soy sauce, handmade from koji, mirin, vinegar, plum, yuzu pepper, grain mustard and so on. Self-cultivation is also the most material, so safety is also obsessed.
