Located in a peaceful and different space surrounded by pleasant forest, 

and where you can fully feel the breeze of nature. 

This 120 year old private house is located in such an excellent location,
it has been renovated while maintaining its historic appearance. 


The old private house reminiscent of life in the old days is impressive. 

The hall is about 50 tatami mats in size, with a wooden floor and a Japanese-style room.

The first floor consists of a large hall with wooden flooring and a Japanese-style room with a floor area of approximately 50 tatami mats,
The second floor has a spacious Japanese-style room with a view of the mountains and the sky from the window.
The view of the mountains and the sky from the windows is accompanied by historical furniture and fittings, and you can feel the time flowing slowly. 


You can see "Mt, Ooda Fuji", which looks like Mt, 
Fuji in front of Oda Sanso, and the shore of Lake Sagami can be seen after passing through the forest path.

*This café-restaurant is owned by the owner of the Ooda Sanso. Please use it for lunch. Reservations are accepted. Take-out for dinner is also available if you make a reservation in advance.


~Recommendations from the restaurant 

The popular “Chicken Curry” with plenty of spices and vegetables, simmered until the chicken is melted. 

Vegetable Curry” with sweetness of beans and vegetables for vegetarians.
Ethnic “Asian-style Soboro Gohan” served with vegetables.
These three items are available for take-out.
Other dishes such as black rice doria and black rice baked curry are also available at the restaurant.

We also offer homemade special drinks and sweets.

<Sightseeing Spots>

◎Oda Lane A 40-minute walk around the forest of the peninsula where Oda Sanso is located. In spring and summer, visitors can enjoy forest bathing, and in fall and winter, when the leaves are falling, they can look down on a spectacular view of the lake. It is also an easy walk for children and pets, so it is recommended for a morning stroll or a change of pace during your stay. 



◎Sagami Lake Pleasure Boat (about 5 minutes on foot) This is a 25-minute pleasure boat ride around Sagami Lake where you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. If you make a reservation, the boat will take you from Sagami Lake Park near JR Sagami Lake Station to the landing below “Oda Sanso”. It is an attractive alternative to taking a bus or cab to reach the inn by boat. (Adults 500 yen) 



◎Fujino Art House (8 minutes by car) This is an art experience facility surrounded by nature under the theme of “contact, experience, and creation. Visitors can try their hand at ceramics, woodworking, glassworking, etc.



◎Fujino Art Village (approx. 6 min. by car) A fun art market with eight container galleries. Visitors can talk directly with the artists and purchase their works.

◎BC Kobo Fuji no Living Art Gallery (8 minutes by car) Amazing solid wood tables and cozy chairs, mysterious knick-knacks, and many other fun living art pieces.

◎Yamanami Onsen (10 min. by car) A stopover hot spring that uses 100% spring water from the source, with no added water. The view from the open-air bath is open and relaxing. 



◎Art Path (10 min. by car) There are about 30 outdoor sculptures scattered along the path, and you can enjoy them while walking along the path. (Approx. 10 km, 75-180 min. by car)



◎Lake Sasami Resort Pleasure Forest (20 min. by car)(from 13th July, "Sagami ko MORI MORI"): This leisure facility combines outdoor facilities and an amusement park. 
It also has a hot spring and a campground, so both adults and children can spend a whole day here without getting bored.

From Sagamiko IC, drive toward Uenohara, turn left at the next traffic light, cross Katsuse Bridge, turn right, 200m ahead, turn left, about 2 minutes.

・Get off at JR Fujino Station and take a cab for about 10 minutes.
・Get off at JR Sagamiko Station and take a wooden boat from Sagamiko Park (Katsuse Kanko) for about 10 minutes.

<Precautions> 
　
・Please be quiet after 7:00 p.m. as it may be a nuisance to neighbors.
・Pets are not allowed.
・Damage to the facilities during use of the lodge shall be borne by the user.
・Fire is prohibited in all areas of the villa (but may be permitted if approved by the manager).
・The users are responsible for restoring the villa to its original condition after use, keeping it tidy and clean, and taking all trash with them. There will be a fee for the disposal of trash at the lodge.
・Smoking is not permitted in the lodge except in designated smoking areas.
・Parking is limited. Please do not block the way of local residents or other vehicles.
・Accidents that occur on the grounds of the lodge are the sole responsibility of the parties involved.
