"Ooda Sanso" Guest House

Outline of the property
　
It is located in a different space of peace, surrounded by a pleasant forest. A place where you can fully feel the breeze of nature. We renovated a 120-year-old private house in such an excellent location.

A community space of about 50 tatami mats with an impressive design reminiscent of life in the past is also included in the guesthouse.
You can feel the time flowing slowly.
　
In front of Oda Villa, you can see "Oda Fuji," which looks like Mt.
Fuji in front of Oda Sanso's guest house. The shore of Lake Sagami appears as you pass through the forest path.

Room rates (per person)
　The basic rate is 4,500 yen per night for adults.
　　For those with children, please select from the options below.
　　Elementary school students: 3,300 yen per night
　　3 years old to under elementary school student: 2,700 yen per night

This is a cafe-restaurant owned by the owner of the lodge. Please use it for lunch. Reservations are accepted. You can also take out for dinner if you make a reservation in advance.
-Recommended by the restaurant.
We recommend the chicken curry, which is simmered for a very long time.
We also have an organic farmhouse restaurant called "Soil and Chef" which is open for lunch only on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Sightseeing spots
Oda Path (within the premises)
This is a 40-minute walk through the forest on the peninsula where Oda Sanso is located. In spring and summer, you can enjoy bathing in the forest, and in autumn and winter when the leaves fall, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the lake. It is also easy to walk with children and pets, so it is recommended for a morning stroll or a change of pace during your stay.

◎Sagami Lake Pleasure Boat (10 minutes by car)
A 25-minute cruise around Lake Sagami, where you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons. If you make a reservation, the boat will take you from Sagami-ko Park, near JR Sagami-ko Station, to the landing-place below "Oda Villa". It is an attractive alternative to buses or cabs to reach the inn by boat. (500 yen for adults)

◎Fujino Art House (about 10 minutes by car)
Fujino Art House is an art experience facility surrounded by nature, with the theme of "interaction, experience, and creation. Visitors can try their hand at pottery, woodworking, glass art, and more.

◎Fujino Art Village (about 10 minutes by car)
A fun art market with eight container galleries. You can talk directly with the artists and purchase their works.

◎Yamanami Hot Springs (15 minutes by car)
A stopover hot spring that uses 100% spring water.
The view from the open-air bath is nice and relaxing.

◎Path of Art (10 minutes by car)
About 30 outdoor sculptures are scattered throughout the area, and there is a walking course where you can appreciate them while walking. (approx. 10km, 75-180min.)

◎Sagami Lake Resort Pleasure Forest (20 minutes by car)
It is a leisure facility that combines an outdoor facility and an amusement park, and also has a hot spring and a campground, so both adults and children can spend a whole day there without getting bored.


Access
When coming by car
From Sagami-ko IC, turn left at the next traffic light in the direction of Uenohara, cross Katsuse Bridge and turn right.

Turn left 200m ahead and drive about 2 minutes.
By train: 10 minutes by cab from JR Fujino Station.
There is no shuttle bus.
There is a parking lot (6 cars).

Precautions
　-Please be quiet after 7:00 p.m. to avoid disturbing the neighborhood.
　-No pets allowed.

The scenery from the lakeside is worth seeing.
