DESCRIPTION
Located on Chigasaki's coastal street, Taishokan welcomes you to spend a relaxing and nostalgic time gazing at the pine tree garden, unchanged since the Taisho era. The main house, which was built on January 17, 1923 (Taisho 12), will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2023. Although the house was built during the Taisho era, it has undergone reinforcement work and has been renovated over time to retain its original appearance as closely as possible. Over the course of a year, many craftsmen have worked to create a space that will make you feel as if you have traveled back in time to the Taisho era.
