For meals, please enquire. This is our 6th year of operation, starting from April 2007. Our traditional farm house is around 130 years old. It is in the countryside, and you will feel at home here. We are happy to welcome guests, and focus on interaction between farming communities and city dwellers.【Main produce】Rice, ancient rice, vegetables【Self introduction】Shamisen, folk songs, gardening, pruning, I prune Kanrakusou’s trees and shrubs by myself. Pottery, I have won prizes five times at the Fujisawa Pottery Festival.The letters decorating the frame in the tokonoma alcove are the old-style kanji for Kanrakusou. The parlor behind here is 17.5 mats in size, and the ceiling is 3.7m high. Guests from the cities are impressed. I hope many people can come and enjoy this.I like the name of this place, Kanrakusou. The private flower garden which I am now developing I am also calling Kanrakusou. We are principally a farm guest house, where city and countryside can meet, and city people who wish to enjoy country living, and find peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle, can join us in appreciating life here in Fujisawa town in Iwate, where rural nature remains bountiful.
